Mike transferred my old DVDs, video8 and VHS to digital, these videos have a lot of emotional value for me and I needed someone who could appreciate this. Mike shows that he cares for your material, he has a very fair pricing structure and completed the job in less time than expected. The quality of the new videos is better than the originals! I contacted Mike after coming across his company on Google to see if he could repair one of my VHS tapes, which had some of the film torn out, and convert it into a DVD. Not only was his service quick, but the DVDs looked incredible - he even designed the case to incorporate screenshots from the video. On top of that, the broken VHS cassette was returned to me in perfect condition! Definitely Recommend!

I hired Mike at Soft Touch Video Conversion to convert some old 8mm films to digital and DVD. My mother had an old box of several films that she had been storing for decades and as my dad passed last year she thought it time to bring the films out to see if they could be converted. One film was of my parents wedding from the late 60's.Mike did an amazing job converting them to digital, adding accompanying music (Elvis-my moms choice), and for a small additional fee put it on DVD and Mp4(USB). He also made a spectacular DVD case featuring small pics from the film on the cover, with a title that I chose. When I presented it to my mother for her birthday in late May (kudos again to Mike for ensuring it was done on time), and we viewed it, she was speechless. She had not seen theses films since they were taken and she was moved by some of the scenes as there were several people in the wedding film that have long since passed, including her parents and grandmother. There were also several shorter films that had myself and my brothers as young lads that just followed seamlessly on the video after the wedding film.She was very happy with the entire video, the accompanying music (the film had no audio) and DVD case. And I was very impressed with the entire process and dealing with Mike himself. He is extremely professional, easy to communicate with and he offers great advice and extras at small fee (like an extra DVD which I agreed to purchase).I would highly recommend Mike at Soft Touch Video for any and all of your video conversion needs. I had asked Mike to convert three 8 MM film rolls of my parents' wedding into a DVD. From the moment that I had first contacted Mike, I was very impressed with how knowledgeable, friendly, and approachable he was. I felt comfortable asking him all of the questions that I had, with his answers being very thorough, going above and beyond to help me in any way possible. He asked me to give him a list of songs that I had wanted on the DVD, and pictures for the DVD case, telling me that he would be able to find all of the songs listed for me (even though they were very old songs).When I had dropped off the 8 MM film rolls, Mike gave me a very detailed breakdown of the conversion process, what the DVD case will look like, and the pricing. Once the DVD was done, Mike contacted me, with the conversion process only taking a very short amount of time. Once I had watched the DVD, I began to cry as I was so impressed with how well-done the DVD was made! Mike put in all of the songs that we had requested for the DVD, and made them sound amazing, matching the video perfectly. The case was also very professionally done, with Mike labelling the names, dates, and running time of the DVD. He also added some humourous adverts at the beginning of the video which made me laugh!Overall, I was BEYOND impressed with how wonderful Mike's service was for my family's memories. WOW! WOW! WOW! Not only does the owner burn your old films using dual disk, the highest quality, to record your home videos, recitals, concerts and films but he prints out TOP-NOTCH quality DVD inserts (picture covers) with labelling on the binding of the DVD itself! The DVD disk will also have a PICTURE of the recording made (like a professional DVD bought in stores). I am astounded by the quality of these recordings. If I had known about this place before hand, I would have given ALL of my family videos, high school concerts, dance recitals, and old films to him! I actually spent my own money converting all my old VHS tapes to blank DVDs and the quality is either OK or not that great and it was such a headache to print out my own DVD labels!!! Not only was my film transferred in high quality but the packaging was perfect and the price is more than fair! If time permits, I will definitely go back and have my old family recordings and concert recitals improved with proper labelling.
