Nice view, nice breakfast, comfortable and clean rooms, close walk to the red shoe pub and a short drive to Inverness. Had a great time.

We stayed at the Duncreigan Country Inn on a recent golf trip to Cabot in Inverness , N.S. great people , fantastic breakfast. This inn is 15 minutes from Inverness which was perfect . This was my first stay in a B&B , it was very enjoyable, Steve the owner was terrific. I could have stayed a month if I had the time. I would give them 10 stars if possible. The oats in the morning were the best I have had , I sure wish Steve would share that recipe with me :) Thanks Steve , We had a great time. David Mack

Duncreigan Country Inn of Mabou
Lovely old inn that is a great place to stop before or after exploring Cape Breton. Arrived late in afternoon and were greeted by the innkeeper. Highly recommended we go to The Red Spoon Pub and enjoy the music and dinner (it was about the only game in town), which we truly enjoyed. Perfectly appointed room (weak internet) and a great breakfast in beautiful dining area.

Duncreigan Country Inn of Mabou
We had a lovely stay at the Inn. The innkeeper was wonderful to chat with and provided a wealth of information about the area. The breakfast was amazing, we enjoyed perfectly cooked pancakes both days of our stay. The Inn is also walking distance to the famous Red Shoe Pub where you can enjoy traditional music and wonderful food. I highly recommend the Duncreigan Country Inn of Mabou along your journey around Cape Breton Island.

One of the comfortable B & Bs we’ve stayed at. Our host Steve was so kind and welcoming. He was also a great story teller. We had such a spacious suite and wonderful breakfast the two days we stayed here. We would definitely stay here again.

Room was large and beautifully appointed. Very comfortable King size bed. Delicious breakfasts included. Innkeeper very personable and gave us lots of good suggestions. Celtic Shores Coastal Trail for biking/hiking just steps away from Inn.

Comfortable lodging, friendly atmosphere, tasty breakfast buffet. Short drive to area beaches, and and even shorter walk to the delicious Red Shoe pub!
