Coinomatic is located Richmond My building is located I Vancouver in Olympic Village. WE have new machines and have to use only cards to operate machines. The card machine ran out of cards after I deposited $25 this $ was not added, then the machines would not read mine or other people's cards. The said they would repair the card dispenser and send me a new card loaded with $30 to cover the $5 cost of the card I bought. It is two weeks later and no card has appeared in the mail. The building claims they have no contact or responsibility or involvement with Coinomatic which is odd since the building leases these machines from Coinomatic and receives payment for their use. I live at 80 Walter Hardwick Ave, Vancouver. The building is owned by the City of Vancouver and managed by a non profit housing society that receives 70% of its operating costs from government funding from three levels of government. I was born in Canada and pay taxes every year.

Terrible service. I have reported issues with the machines multiple times and they are not addressed, haven't been for months. And they have the audacity to raise the price for the machines? The water temperatures for the machines are cold on the warm setting. the hot setting on the dryer is not hot, it is the exact same temperature as the regular automatic setting. Get your act together!

Absolutely terrible customer service. I have $40 of added value that was never added to a card. Since it was bought for a specific card number and not my new one, Coinmatic will no honour that I have purchased $40 and transfer it to my new card.Terrible business model and even worse customer service. Get rid of the machines and let me put my toonies into the machine.Terrible.

This is my second time putting in a request about the same machine with different problems. The machine ate my last dollar and since it only accepts .25, 1, 2 dollar coins and doesn't give me back the change I've already put in, I can't dry my towels. I love having wet laundry draped around my house, don't you?Why are the machines still only taking change and why are they not allowing you to get your money back? It is almost 2022, can you upgrade the way these machines accept money? It's honestly ridiculous that I have to get change during a PANDEMIC, especially in only three types of dollar value.I'm beyond frustrated at how this company treats its customers. I am still waiting for my refund from last time (4.50 for two loads of laundry), but what are you going to do? Refund me digitally? I want the refund in change, so I CAN DO MY LAUNDRY.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I couldn’t get past the front line staff to speak to anyone in the refund request department. I had to email my refund request and no one ever emailed me back. When I tried loading my card the money was withdrawn from my account but it didn’t go to my laundry my card, even though the machine indicated it went through. I indicated to them that I bought a new card so I could do my laundry. They sent me a new card anyway. What am I going to do with another card? They don’t listen. Extremely frustrating!!

Been waiting over a month to receive a refund of $10 when their add value" machine ate my cash without loading my card. When I called customer service they told me "everything was fine" on their end. I asked what to do if my refund got lost in the mail and they told me to go to the post office even though the representative couldn't tell me if there a tracking number or even address it was being sent from to reference. Terrible customer experience, agent asked me the same questions 3x (probably wasn't paying attention). Technician takes more than 2 days to come and fix a simple issue and the refund of $2.50 is sent by cheque and takes 14 business days. While all that happens I can't dry my clothes because of a simple problem. Incredible level of imcompetence, would not recommend using this company.

We got new machines that don’t accept the cards to start loads but they sure do accept the money on the cards. I had to switch to the app and calling to get a refund for the 18 dollars that was eaten from my card attempts to start the machine has been rather Ill. The company is only willing to refund to my card, which does not work, and not the new app account I had to create to start the machines. This refund will only happen after the card on the machine is “fixed.” That could have been my last 18 dollars that I now have to wait a week for.Customer service center, it’s not the customer service call takers faults, I was on hold so much lord knows they were just getting orders from their managers but this feels like yet another company relying on these “malfunctions” for profits as it’s a multi day and multi call affair to get an 18 dollar refund

Their machines are OVERPRICED PILES OF HOT GARBAGE!!For the last 3 years I have lived in an apartment with 4 of their machines. During that time, there has not been a single month when all 4 machines were operational at the same time. Recently they have upped their prices (AGAIN!!) without updating or repairing any of the equipment. This company will take all of your money and provide you with nothing but frustration. If you have Coinmatic machines in your building I highly recommend finding your nearest laundromat and using that instead.

In November 2022, I reloaded a card that worked previously, however after being charged $48 the card still read as $0. I called for help, they advised that I buy a new card. I bought the new card for $5 and loaded it with $50, it gave me an error message. I was finally refunded for the first card in February 2023 after over 10 calls, but the service is so incredibly horrible that I still have not received a refund for the second card. I have called so many times, each time the worker on the other end promises a refund which was never processed. I made my final attempt at receiving this refund today (May 12, 2023) and they refused to give it.$55 is a lot for a student and Coinamatic simply stole it and there is nothing I can do about it.
