Ottawa Valley Family Health Team
Dr. Turcotte is very knowledgeable and I'm ++thankful to have her as my GP, especially considering the current shortage of primary care practitioners. It has never been an issue to get in urgently when needed and staff are usually very easy to deal with. Wait times on the phone can be long but nothing unreasonable, if it is important I don't mind waiting an extra 5-10 min. Given the ongoing challenges I appreciate the clinic working and adapting with what they've got.

When you actually get in, I love my doctor (Milko). I spend hours trying to get or sort out my prescriptions. Been on hold now 30 minutes but I am not sure they're even working. They have to figure this out. The prescriptions I mean. Today, I would just like to know if they're even there.

As a new patient, I think the clinic is great! I'm able to schedule an appointment to speak w/ family physician in a reasonable time. Physician takes time to listen & address concerns. Impressed with level of care & service provided by the clinic.

This is a great hospital and dr. Quackenbush is amazing to have as a doctor. The only problem I have is when your doctor is away on vacation and you have to see another doctor name dr. Boyd. This Dr. Boyd has a real attitude and could care less about you. It's sad that you have someone like that working in Almonte.

Absolutely horrendous wait times for anyone to pick up the phone. I absolutely love my dr. She's amazing, understanding, and takes all my concerns very seriously but when you call to book an appointment, or reschedule an appointment it's absolutely the worst wait times I've ever seen. I've currently been on hold for half an hour just trying to reschedule an appointment for my daughter.

This Medical Clinic is very poorly run. Trying to connect with a receptionist to book an appointment is utterly frustrating. The hold times are unacceptable. It seems there isn't anyone working there to speak to patiences for booking and consults with their respected doctors. Also trying to get in touch with the clinic for renewals of prescriptions is impossible. This needs to be addressed ASAP

Dr. Turcotte provides excellent care and listens to her patients, she is the best doctor I've ever had. This is a wonderful place that has always done their best to help me. They're LGBTQ+ friendly too :)

I and my husband had our first appointment with Dr Almeida as our family doctor on Apr 13 2023, and we really liked her. She was respectful and answered all the questions we had. She also asked for some blood exams for us to have baseline tests results.Also, the clinic is very organized, clean, nurses and staff were very helpful and friendly.The waiting times to get appointments would be lower, so is this why I’m giving 4 stars.

After being with Dr. Tiffany since the start of his practice, my entire family was dropped at random" because he "took on too many patients."He dropped 400 patients! Why were so many taken on in the first place then? And instead of keeping his early patients he took a dart board instead on who to cull . He "transferred" us to a nurse practitioner to take care of us instead. Absurd

Not very happy with the way things are going , I’ve had two of my appointments cancelled / declined . It’s like my family doctor has no time to speak with me , I also can’t reach other to her without going through several other people . Everyone is kind just doesn’t make sense to me
