Walmart Supercentre

April 19th, 2023.I asked if I could open the package to confirm if the ends came off. They said no.I mentioned that I could buy it, open it, and check it out myself, and then return it. They said, ok, do that...At which point I was very confused. They would rather waste my time, and theirs, then let me open up the product to see if it did what I wanted to do.I then found a manager, and asked her.She understood my delema. Momentarily. And then she proceeded to look at the product from inside the packaging, and then promptly assurd me that it would not work. That it was stuck on there, and would not come apart. She then proceeded to walk away with the product that I was still debating on purchasing.Remember, I can still buy it and bring it back.I said so, and she reluctantly, and angrily I might add, gave me back the product.Unfortunately I did not buy the rings I wanted for this rod, because of this. I live 30 mins away, thats an hour driving.Got home, opened it up. In 3 seconds I was able to easily slide off the friction fit end. Nothing was destroyed in the process.3 Walmart staff needlessly wasted my time, and theirs. I didn't buy the product I wanted. The product I wanted cost more money. Technically Walmart lost an upsale.To top it off the cashier repeated pestured me about the walmart mastercard. I explictly said no. She repeated. I said 'no, means no'. I said I don't want to lose money. She then proceeded to debate me on this. Saying 'that is not how it is supposed to be use', more than once I might add.No, means no.Stop harassing customers get a mastercard. Stop lying to people and giving them hopes and dreams of saving big, while at the same time taking added money from people that need it - in the form of interest.Walmart would not push mastercards so much if it did not profit them. It would be easy to assume the money they make is from interest, that is from customers paying 'extra' on items they purchased.This is predatory.

Often I’ve gone here and the shelves are not restocked so you have to ask someone to check the back to get your item. Worse then that, they’re usually out of the item(s). Looking to take advantage of a pop sale? Sorry but shelves will be empty.They moved the cart stalls to the back forty while paving the parking lot but never returned them to a normal & accessible location. I even mentioned it to their manager months ago. Needless to say, carts end up everywhere.Will spend my money in Edmonton from now on unfortunately.

One of the most horrible Walmarts of all time. Not only does this location have the most rudest and the most horrible customer service of all times but I called there like 5 minutes ago asking to be put through to seasonal only to be hung up on. I don't know about you but I think that was pretty rude. Out of all the Walmarts that I visit I think I like the Walmarts in Edmonton better than the one in Leduc.

Quick stop to buy a dry shirt as I got caught in a rain storm. It was easy to find what I needed. The store is well lit and clean. Didn’t have any contact with staff, so no comment there. Used the self checkout and it was easy and convenient. This is a Walmart Supercentre so if you’re looking for just about anything except the kitchen sink you will probably find it here. Plenty of parking outside. My brief experience here was good.

I’m very disappointed to say that overall I have not had a positive experience with the grocery online and delivery service. I understand things happen that go wrong but when these situations heavily outweigh the positive, it gets frustrating. My most recent experience was the worst of the worst. I placed my order for delivery. I tracked the whole process right down to the time the delivery left the store. The little “delivery car” on the map was stuck about 3-4 blocks north of my home. I waited for about an hour and a half because of potential issues ie/car accident etc. I then called customer service who then called the store. The agent gets back on the line to explain the driver could not find my address and took my groceries back to the store! No phone calls or text messages from the driver or the store whatsoever! I then get told the refund will happen automatically on their end.Here we sit 5 days later and I can’t initiate the refund because according to the app, the delivery is still in progress!! I call the customer service number who then calls the store only to find out the refund was never issued. Overall, my experience has either been exploding paper bags, extremely delayed deliveries (and the customer pays a pretty hefty delivery fee already) and I have even experienced missing items that apparently were processed and were in the order when it left the store but was not there when I received the grocery order! Sorry Walmart but you really have some homework to do win my confidence back to use online grocery and delivery service again. Please note that everything up to and including the grocery online purchase process is great but it’s what happens after that where things really fall apart. Too many negative issues so for now I have lost confidence! I want things to improve for you so hopefully one day I may be back.

Chloe in the garden centre made my shopping experience wonderful! She helped me find what I was looking for, offered to water my plants before I left and she even assisted me with bringing a few heavier items to my vehicle. Chloe’s kindness and willingness to help will not be forgotten.

Found everything I wanted. However, they overcharged me for an item that was in the sale flyer. Tried to get a hold of them and no one from customer service" answered the phone. Phone corporate and they couldn't get anyone either - no answer. Told me to go to the store to resolve the problem. No other way to resolve the issue. Extremely disappointed and questioning if I want to ever shop at Walmart if I have to check everything on the bill before I leave the till area and

Purchased a controller from Walmart 2 days ago. It doesn’t work. I provided the serial number, store number, purchase date, and the credit card info used to purchase the controller. I was told I now have a $50 paper weight. Pretty big bummer, Walmart should take responsibility for selling broken products…

One customer service rep named Deanna just gave her opinion and called me”criminally wrong” for finding wrong priced items and gives rude remarks for 1 hour that i was waiting for my items to get resolved. I was very helpful and kept my cool even with the words i heard from her. She is very opinionated. Word of advice to people check your receipts coz it doesn’t match the shelf price and that is “criminally wrong” to overcharge consumer and deceiving them. I asked some staffs for help and they are not approachable and makes u feel like you are an inconvenience.. zero star for that experience but i am giving 1 star just because of the lady in clothing department that helped me twice. She was wonderful. In conclusion not the best visit ever.
