Amazing place! Really does feel like home! The care is wonderful and the staff are proactive.

The staff provided outstanding care in difficult circumstances. I witnessed the time and patience they took with other residents, besides my mother, and was always impressed with them.

I have resided at Sunrise for two years and have found it to be a home away from home". This is Assisted Living at its best. The ambience is that of old fashion comfort. The food is good and nutritious

I recently toured this residence and highly recommend it to anyone considering retirement options for themselves or their loved one. The minute you step in, it truly feels like home. The entire staff go above and beyond to keep residents engaged and safe at all times. Their reminisce coordinator Jerome and his memory care team are top notch!! Care is tailored to suit each residents individual needs and continually assessed as those needs evolve. The fact that most of their staff have been there for years (some since the building first opened), speaks for itself. It really is one big family.

I recently visited Sunrise of Richmondhill because I am looking for a retirement home for my grandmother.I am grateful to James Manning for providing me an informative and inviting tour of this location. The entire building is very nice, clean, shiny, and absolutely beautiful. All staff were very friendly and gave me positive energies. After the tour, we ate a delicious home cooked meal.I am hopeful that this will the place for my grandmother. Thank you again!

Two of my family members have been entrusted to Sunrise of Richmond Hill, sharing a suite. I feel confident that they are being treated with professionalism, but also the staff members seem to have some genuine affection for the residents. When the occasional concern crops up, the Director always listens to me and deals with the situation immediately. There are regular wellness checks and I am kept informed of the results. I am glad we chose this place when we did, in 2019, because I feel that my relatives have been in the safest possible place.

Sunrise of Richmond Hill is the home of my father of 101 years old. He has been living in Sunrise for 2 years and 9 months. The staffs at Sunrise of Richmond Hill are warm, friendly, professional and dedicated. Specially in times of the unprecedent pandemic lockdowns, the services provided by the staffs have exceeded our expectation. There are not enough words that could describe our gratefulness and gratitude to all staffs.

It was a difficult decision to move Mom to a seniors home - and more so during a pandemic - but thanks to the kind and caring staff at Sunrise, the transition was surprisingly smooth. The wonderful caregivers give me great peace of mind knowing she is well looked after in a safe and friendly environment.

Sunrise of Richmond Hill has been one of my greatest employers for the past years. 2 years ago, the first time I set foot on Richmond Hill, I knew right there and then that I would love to work at Sunrise. So after I got my Permanent Residency and finished my Maternity Vacation, I applied right away and got the job as a Care Manager. All of Sunrise’s staff (Taylor, Kiana, Cathy, etc.) are very nice and accommodating, from the Executive Director (Michael), Coordinators (Jacqueline, Jerome & Daniel), Nurses (Salome, Simi, Irum, Carol & Marie), Care Managers (REM, AL & MCMs), Learning Manager (Kuya Danny), Maintenance Team (Leon, Boni & Raul) down to the Kitchen Crew. Sunrise has a huge heart for their Employees especially to their Residents. I, myself, have witnessed first-hand how greatly compassionate Sunrise of Richmond Hill is especially the Care Managers of Reminiscence. They always make sure that all Residents are well kempt and even provided some of their necessities (from the Care Managers own pockets) in times when their loved-ones weren’t able to do so. You would never starve at Sunrise as there’s always food for everybody. The care they provide are uniquely personalized and superbly thought of. Sunrise is a Pro-Employee too, seeing to it that you’re keeping your family as your priority without compromising the needs of the residents. Sadly, I had to leave to pursue my other endeavours but Sunrise would always have a special spot in my heart. I must say, they’re not just a community, they’re FAMILY. Thank you for having me! My mother just turned 100 and has been at Sunrise for just over one month. All the staff have been very caring and very attentive to my mother's every need. James Manning, their Sales Rep is very low key and doesn't exert any pressure. Salome is a wonderful nurse, Jacqueline and Janice, in the office have been great, as have the rest of Sunrise's staff. I would recommend checking our Sunrise to everyone.
