Food was decent, service was good and location is great. There's better food elsewhere to be honest, but the location more than makes up for it.

Good food, but VERY slow, pre-ordered food, go to pick up and had to wait another 45 mins. But they provided a free McCain cake as compensation and very pleasant service.

The management rectified the situation, we ordered again and the food was phenomenal. Just the way I remembered. The situation was handled very professionally. We will definitely be coming back again. ThxI've been going here my entire life and it's always been my favourite restaurant. I would love to give it a five-star but the last two times we have ordered we have been disappointed. Last night we ordered chicken and pizza with french fries. The fries were literally cold to the touch the chicken was dry and almost inedible. It was obvious that our food had been sitting for at least half an hour before we picked it up. My wife was very clear when she said we were going to be there for 7:45 pm. We live far from the restaurant so we couldn't just go back, and in the past when we have complained we were met with rude responses. Honestly it's worth the drive to Niverville if you want good chicken chef. I am so disappointed as this was my all-time favourite restaurant since my childhood.

Some of the best fried chicken I've ever had! Bravo! We ordered a bucket of chicken, fries, gravy, and coleslaw. The chicken skin was seasoned just right. Perfectly fried. I found myself picking the bones clean. Even impressed my daughter who commented This chicken is pretty good!". The fries were great and the gravy was delicious. I consumed way too much. Loved the coleslaw - juicy but not too much. It was a great meal. Highly recommend. If you're in Steinbach and hungry for fried chicken

Love the chicken. Could use a bit more gravy another time. Only two tables were eating with two waitresses and our waitress was hard to find.However the food was good with a reasonable portion.

I absolutely love the staff here. We get the same server most times we go, and she's wonderful. She's so friendly and attentive, and she definitely makes the visit worth it. The food is good too, which can be expected from Chicken Chef (in my opinion). The chairs can be a bit uncomfortable, and the restaurant is really open"
