Travelodge Suites by Wyndham Regina / Eastgate Bay

If I could give 0 stars, I would. My daughter and I checked in late at night. The room smelled like pee, and it was not clean. The bathroom was full of black mold, and there was snot on the bathroom ceiling. Gross is an understatement. Health services should be called.

Some of the commodities weren’t functioning so we had to change rooms.Front desk was difficult to communicate with due to a language barrier on their end (their primary language was not English).The breakfast was not as advertised in photos. Pancakes, toast, cereal, yogurt & boiled eggs. They greatly reduced/downgraded options since the photos were taken and since the last time I stayed there (2020).

Very poor hotel. Their “warm” breakfast is just a pancake machine that doesn’t always work. Informed them that their only vending machine wasn’t working the first night we got here and it was never fixed.We were here because my wife’s mother was in palliative care and that we needed the hotel room until she passed. We were called after 3 nights and kicked out of our room because they overbookedDo not stay here!!

This location took a group reservation. The receptionists attempted to use random Wyndham rewards points and told our group we could not use our own/ change the number on file. We had to call Wyndham rewards support to see if it was true that Travelodge could not give out points to us and not that random number assigned. After a couple days and members of our group going back and forth with receptionist, Wyndham got back to us with that we should be able to use our own points cards and that Travelodge should be able to change out the point cards numbers. So what the receptionists and managers told us were straight-up lies.We were able to go back and have it switched no problem after it was cleared with Wyndham. Either poor training is occurring at this location or they are straight tried to steal 5 rooms and 4 weeks worth of Wyndham points for the card number they input into their system
