Dr. Christian is absolutely amazing and all the hygienists are very friendly, as well as the reception staff. They also accept payment plans and will work with you on a budget and treatment plan for your teeth if you have poor insurance (like I do).

I absolutely love the staff and Dr Bacchus is a phenomenal dentist who has grace and patience. My children all love his and his team’s ethics; we always recommend this Dentist and his establishment to anyone asking for a dentist in Thunder Bay. In the past I absolutely detested going to the dentist but since going to Algome Family Dental, my major fear and anxiety has disappeared!! Everyone from the office staff to dentist to the hygienist make me feel so comfortable and welcome..Just such an overall great place to visit for all your Dental needs

Dr. Bacchus and his hygienist at Algoma Family Dental Center are great! Dr. Bacchus talks you through everything, and makes you feel comfortable. All the staff is super friendly. I don't have coverage and they don't make me feel guilty for not having great oral care. They don't make me feel bad if I'm unable to afford certain procedures right away. They try to work with you as best they can which I find today is pretty rare but very much appreciated! I can not recommend this dental office enough!!!

Literally says taking new clients “new clients welcome” on their sign outside of their work place but when you try to get a hold of them as a new client to make an appointment they will send you a rejection email saying they aren’t taking new clients. If this is true, then why are you advertising that you are in fact taking new clients ? Also no phone call follow up is very cowardly and says a lot about how you conduct business. I’d say I just dodged a bullet there! Beware!

Very professional place to go for all your dental work. Dr. Bacchus is friendly, professional, explains what he is doing a d goes over his treatment plan for you. He makes you at ease and strives to make sure you are comfortable. His staff are polite, professional, and friendly. I recommend Algoma Family Dental to anyone.

Don't ever go to them.. children aid was supposed to pay for my dentist and when my daughter had her dentist appointment because we had an issue with children services they rather have my kids teeth rot out of their heads instead

Fast, efficient, funny, professional and understanding. Going to the dentist has been my Achilles heel since childhood as I didn't realize that I have a high tolerance to freezing. Dr. Kidd, Rene and her previous team have helped me learn to breathe during procedures. I'm so happy to say that Algoma Dental has the same approach toward dentistry and that Dr. Bacch and Barbara made my 2 extractions, while not ever fun, painfree and the fastest procedures ever. This was the first time that I didn't hear teeth cracking, impatient muttering or feel cold professionalism. Thank you to all.
