We came in today to purchase goldfish for our pond. The young man who helped us, (I think his name was Ezra) went above and beyond! He asked our kids if they wanted to select each of the 10 goldfish we were getting. He was so patient with the kids, and made it such a special experience. Thanks so much for taking a few extra minutes to make our kids' day!

Amazing pet store. Great service and they really take care of the pets in the store. I feel comfortable asking questions about anything for my pet. Also reasonable pricing. They have a pretty big aquarium section as well.

such a great pet store. staff are very friendly, passionate and informative. you have the opportunity to look at and interact with lots of small pets, including hamsters, ferrets, bunnies, hedgehogs, guinea pigs, budgies, reptiles and a parrot. there is also a beautiful aquarium area full of fish and other aquatic creatures.

I have found staff to be very condescending in their approach with me and my pets. I think they need to be more friendly and work on their attitude. I continue to feel belittled by them. I don't like going to the store because of this. I prefer going to other pet stores for all my pet babies because I feel I am received better and the experience is more pleasant. I don't deserve this type of treatment. I am a great pet mom and well received by other pet stores. They lost business because of their condescending behavior. I believe it started from their young supervisor Jessy where many of them have picked up such condescending treatment of customers

Went to this pet store and left frustrated. The staff, especially one girl with short hair, was super condescending. She acted like a know-it-all and didn't seem to want to help me understand more about the pets.Also, watch out for their prices. They had a sign saying 'lovebirds for $250,' but turns out that price is for each bird. Felt like a scam to me. When I asked which bird could talk, she gave me a rude answer, saying each bird is unique and I shouldn't just buy them for their talking ability. I didn't know much about pets, so this just felt judgmental and unhelpful.The store would be great, but the staff and their deceptive pricing let it down big time

I came here and was shocked at how rude the lady working was to me. She had a really condescending tone and suggested that I don't know how to feed my fish properly. Have you tried feeding them? She asked me" To make it worse

Very impressed with the quality of care each staff member gives us. Jessey the store manager has been very helpful since we started shopping here a couple years back and is the reason we keep coming back. My partner and I have recommended GCP to others as well. Great place to go to if you want quality animal care and excellent welcoming service by staff.

I recently visited Garden City Pets and was very appreciative of the service I received, I believe the person who helped me was a female manager with short hair. She was incredibly knowledgeable about fish and aquariums, and she helped me pick out the best supplies for a beginner like myself. The store had a great selection of fish and aquarium supplies, and the price didn't feel like it was breaking the bank. I left feeling confident and excited to start my new hobby. If you're looking for a great pet store, I highly recommend Garden City Pets!
