Murrin Substation #1
This substation was built in the 40s and followed the Art Deco theme. It was designed by McArthur and Naime. The same firm also designed the Marine Building Downtown. It is similar to the George Dickie Substation.. Murrin was a past president of BC Electric. Notice the thunderbolt themes on the stone work. It is also on the Heritage Vancouver roster.
