Gateway Children's Centre

My daughter attends the Schooler Program" @ Gateway Children's Centre. We recently moved which meant changing schools and daycares. All of the staff were extremely considerate of the changes and super lovely. My daughter felt safe and right at home. They take a lot of time and thought into activities and are very accommodating to schedules and anything that is going on with our lives. They offer a kind and nurturing environment . We are glad that we found Gateway for our childcare"

A•MA•ZING - (informal) startlingly impressive.Gateway Children’s Center is amazing. That is an understatement but there are no words I know to fully describe how wonderful and appreciated Natalie and the team here are.They are responsive, proactive, and incredibly helpful in every way I have experienced.My girls absolutely love their teachers and actually miss days they aren’t able to attend.Gateway Children’s Center is a phenomenal place for your kids. They will be loved, encouraged, and built up in ways that I find uncommon for daycare centre’s.

Our daughter spent a year at Gateway before starting kindergarten this year. We had such a wonderful experience! She loved going so much that she often didn’t want to leave when I picked her up at the end of the day. It is very well run and the staff are amazing. We particularly liked the amount of time spent outside and the fun field trips the children got to go on. I have no hesitations at all about recommending!

We really trust the staff at Gateway childcare. Our son has been with Gateway since February of last year and since then, his speech has improved, he’s made friends and he’s potty trained! He’s always happy at the centre :) I just find Miss Natalie and the educators genuinely care about the children, nourish them with kind laughter and supportive guidance, and let them play a ton outside, so all of those things have helped our son. I definitely wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Gateway!

Natalie and all the staff are incredible. They go above and beyond to make the children feel welcome and loved. My son enjoys being there and he appreciates the amount of time they get to spend playing outside. My son often talks about the mornings when Pastor Matt comes to visit and play songs for the kids.I have never felt more comfortable, knowing my child is in good care!

I had one child in the 3-5 age program and one child in the schooler program. We loved Gateway Daycare! The teacher's are very dedicated and go the extra mile. Natalie who runs the program cares for the needs of the entire family, is approachable and is fantastic with connecting with each child and parent.

Our family has had the pleasure of being part of this wonderful daycare for about a year. The level of care and support from staff is above and beyond and extends past the children to the parents/families. We were so grateful they could help us out last summer in a very last minute spot for our daughter. Their kindness is unmatched and I would recommend them to anyone.

We feel so lucky that our son landed here when his previous daycare closed in August. The children get so much good outdoor time playing, taking walks, and going on scavenger hunts. There is a lot of encouragement of independent, creative play and not a lot of hurrying from task-to-task. One thing I really appreciate is a skillful focus on helping children to understand interpersonal skills and resolving conflicts together. My son is excited to go to school every morning and full of stories about all his adventures every night. The teachers are all patient, warm, and loving, and the children are supported to be themselves — whether they want time alone, more time with a craft or a book or a game, or time to sit and eat their snacks. We can’t say enough about how confident we are in the care given at Gateway.

5 Stars all across the board. I cannot thank the staff at Gateway Daycare enough for the amazing care they take of my son. Most days my son asks if he can go straight to daycare instead of having to go to school first. Gateway is the only accommodating daycare in Kamloops that fit my schedule offering care until 6p.m. They are very clean, professional and most of all caring! I highly recommend

This Center truly and deeply cares about your child (children). The teachers are well educated. The Center director Natalie is compassionate, kind, well-equipped. Teachers obtain regular training. Meals provided. The Center communicates frequently and provides all connections, networks, accommodations. Highly recommend (the reason we left was due to location as it took me two hours to get to work and back not because of the Center…).
