Pacific Rim Fishing Charters & Guest Lodge

My mother and I booked two nights at Pacific Rim. The day of our first night, I received a call stating that there was a mistake made with our booking, and we were going to have to pack up, take our bags out of our first room, and move over to a different room for our second night. Not a huge deal (as we luckily had a rental car so just put our bags in there for the day while we toured around), but this would have been a pretty big inconvenience if we had been travelling without a car. The large staircase also seemed very difficult for the elderly to navigate.Accommodation-wise both rooms we had were very clean, and had cute decor.The first room had a large gap under the door, so a few bugs made their way inside the room. Otherwise it was good, and the beds were comfortable.The second room was boiling hot. So hot that my mom and I had trouble sleeping, The mattress was horrible (sagged toward the middle) and the people beside us kept going in and out of their room all night, stomping around on the patio, making it even more impossible to sleep.All in all this place could genuinely be great. The hosts seemed very nice….just a few obvious kinks that put a damper on our stay.

Booked super last minute and glen was so accommodating and friendly. Room was clean and really nice. The only negative was my upstairs neighbour was literally HERDING ELEPHANTS. the walls are so thin I could hear him stomp his way through the morning for almost 2.5 hours. Ultimately just needed a place to get a good sleep and unfortunately that didn’t happen. Can’t fault the owners for someone else but turned my experience sour:(

Gary and Diana of the Pacific Rim Lodge And Fishing Charter in Ucluelet provided us with a well-located, comfortable, clean lodging. Most important, they were quickly available via text to answer questions and provide useful information especially regarding the closure of Highway 4.

I found the rooms excellent. Beds where the nicest i every slept on in a hotel. The cleanliness was impeccable. The host Glen and Dianna where so happy to see us.

Stayed 3 nights at this lovely place. Had a wonderful experience! Amazing location right in Ucluelet next to the Wild pacific trail. Easy self check-in. Room was huge, spacious, and clean. It even had vaulted ceiling. Clean bathroom. Would definitely come back next time!

Don't even know how to put it into words about how amazing our experience was with Glenn and Dianna. My husband and I decided to make it our honeymoon and Glenn was able to get us 3 days fishing with Josh who was an expectional guide. He was so personable and very experienced. We decided we will be coming back every year because it's hard not to when you are treated so amazing. Thank you to our new ukee family! ❤

A warm welcome on our arrival. Glen the owner gave some great tips for local dining. Accommodations very very clean and inviting with an open feel to the room. Comfortable beds, and furnishings. Wonderful views of distant mountains and trees from our second story room. The outdoor deck spaces furnished with tables and chairs provided a great area to enjoy food and beverages in the Summer sunshine. Would definitely stay again.
