I haven't been to the Yale since it used to be a jazz bar but I've recently discovered they have bbq on UberEats. So I ordered...and I order all the time now because holy smokes their food is FANTASTIC . Hands down my new fav bbq place. I'm not a fan of country music but I'm a big fan of bbq.. They have the best cornbread muffins you've EVER HAD!!! And the brisket melts in my mouth. If you're looking for a new place to eat do yourself a favor and get some Yale bbq!!! So far I've only had the brisket,cornbread,coleslaw,and ribs but everything was amazing!!!! Eventually I will try everything on the menu.I'm literally obsessed with just ordering the brisket and cornbread. I've already turned on a few new fans to this place... Dear Yale Saloon PLEASE never ever stop making that awesome bbq!!!

Great food! I had the beef brisket sandwich and it was great. The meat was tender and tasted superb. And the sandwich was not drenched in sauce, just the right amount. And the place has a nice atmosphere as well. I really liked it. Will definitely come back.

I love the barbecue food at The Yale Saloon! My absolute favourite is Vancouver's Best Beef Brisket, it is so tender and juicy. It is my go-to order every time, as well as St. Louis Style Ribs with Texas Dry Rub, smokey and fall-off-the-bone goodness. Rotisserie Chicken Legs and House Smoked Farmcrest Chicken Wings are also excellent add-on items. For sides, I recommend Mac N Cheese and Onion Rings. If you dine at their dog-friendly patio, the Mac N Cheese comes in a little cast iron pan, keeping it hot and gooey. Onion Rings are beer battered, thin and crispy, just the way I like it! Rodeo Fries are not ideal for takeout as the fries would become soggy from the gravy and chopped tomatoes. House Salad is quite refreshing and tasty with dried fruit and lemon-herb vinaigrette. For drinks, American Vintage Hard Iced Tea and Okanagan Crisp Apple Cider both go great with the barbecue food.

super fun club, definitely do the bull riding. Even if country music isn’t your thing you’d still have a ton of fun!

Atmosphere was fun for a group of friends! Buckets were a fair price ($23 for a triple highball) and the bull was great (free rides, but you have to sign a waiver). Bathrooms werent clean and it was country music all night which is not my thing but I’m sure a lot of people enjoy that

Alright BBQ in the middle of downtown if you really need to scratch that itch, but the food is smoked very dry and doesn't come with any sauce or anything to make it less then kindling. Spicing leans heavy on a mustard base with overly liberal use of hot sauces.Dinner comes with some entertainment as they offer line dancing and are willing to teach, but that doesn't really make up for the overly dry meats.Turns into a club/bar after 9 ish.Come for fun and drinks (happy hour?) Skip for the food.

Good country side vibes. Cool songs collection ( you will definitely want to tap your feet on the dance floor). Can get crowded on weekends, but hey that's what pubs are for right?Get your friends here on a Saturday night and you won't regret

We got there at a quiet time probably long weekend as well so it wasn't so busy. Everything is decent and the music wasn't too loud. Service is fine, food was ok as we only order a few.

This place is amazing! Unfortunately the kitchen closes at 9 pm and the price is $$ for the this place. The drinks here are way expensive lol especially for beer like 7.65. I loved how they create dance events every couple minutes with the people working there. And the one of out host was amazing and friendly. I forgot her name but she was kind and made sure everything was ok with us. This place has alot to offer. The atmosphere is so attractive man.

To begin, the environment is so cool. All the decoration makes the experience better. From the door you can smell such a delicious, but not overwhelmed, smell of smoked BBQ. The staff is super friendly and gives you a good attention. The food is amazingly delicious. I loved the chicken thighs. It was incredibly seasoned... the brisket was delicious as well. I do recommend this place. And most definitely I am going back for another dinner.
