Skilled seamstress! I had a very particular dress in mind that I couldn't find anywhere without significant and costly alterations. We decided to get a custom gown made from Rose and she was able to create EXACTLY what I had envisioned (AND it fit within my budget). We got to be part of the entire process, I loved the fact that I got to choose my own fabric. Rose was excellent, she knows how to fit the garment properly and the end product was spectacular! I would recommend Rose again and again

Rose was absolutely amazing to deal with. She helped me not only find but alter the dress to become my dream dress. Yes I did find dresses just as pretty but it was Rose's attitude and attention to detail that won me over. She created the perfect dress experience and I can't thank her enough for that. Absolutely stunning dresses and lovely atmosphere. If you haven't already guessed, I said yes to the dress from san judes bridal.

If I could give zero stars I would! Please do not waste your time and go to this bridal store, there are so many professional bridal salons in Durham. My daughter was a flower girl and it took 6 dress fittings! Some of the girls in the wedding party were picking dresses up the night before and some the alterations never got done or were wrong. The main level of this place is nice - lots of selection but then you go upstairs to try stuff on and it is a disaster! The one room is carpet and it is all stained and really gross, there are toys everywhere and it is just a mess. The bathroom in this room when we went someone had just had a shower as the floor was soaked. We were told to be quiet one time as a baby was sleeping in this room when trying on the dress. You go to the next level upstairs and it is a room with a curtain for privacy and mirror. During one of the fittings the door was open and a little boy stayed in the room while my daughter changed (I covered her). SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL! I am all about home businesses and I completely support them but they need to be separate. On the second last fitting my daughter tried on her dress in the carpeted room, the TV was blaring, the Ipad was blaring and my daughter had to change in the bathroom because the kids were watching TV and playing. The seamstress argued with me about alterations when I told her what I wanted done, one of the girls in the wedding party and I literally pinned (after 15 minutes of arguing) where we wanted it taken in. It was a terrible experience - OH and some man came in on 3 of the 6 visits to see the kids, no idea who he was. SO unprofessional, so dirty and not accommodating. The dresses here are not cheap and with what the dress costs you would expect MUCH better service. Don't go here!!!!!!

If I could give Rose a 0 star I would. My future MIL had 3 custom made pieces started in 2020 and we are now in 2023 with 1 month away from the wedding. We have left with ZERO dresses…. The lack of communication and respect I would have never expected considering the HIGH price my MIL was going to pay. There were so little changes done every time we went back for a fitting. The fabric was already cut wrong to begin with and we both knew nothing could be done to make them work and for her to be comfortable. Luckily Rose told us we were “difficult to work with” and gave us over $900 in the deposits back. I wish you could read this review and feel not only our FRUSTRATION but the disheartened look on my MIL face when we could see that nothing had been done when were told they would be. I will NEVER recommended someone come to this place because of the terrible customer service and the huge price tag.

Thanks to San Jude's Bridal my experiencein purchasing and altering my wedding gown wasa pure delight. The fact that they have hand-writtentestimonials in their store from hundreds of clientsmade me feel very confident. Not only did theirdesigner alter and customize my dress to my desirebut she also altered another dress to fit me perfectly.She was completely accommodating and beyond helpful.I will recommend San Jude's Bridal to anyone gettinggetting married or simply requiring alterations.

AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING EXPERIENCE at San Jude’s Bridal!! Rose was a true ANGEL and an absolute pleasure to work with. She helped my sister pick out her wedding dress and made it into exactly what my sister wanted!My sister got a dress and Rose totally changed it into a corset back, added lace and made it a unique and beautiful dress that no one would have. My sister looked break taking on her wedding day!! My sister actually took her other dresses to Rose to alter and with each one she made it fabulous. She even helped us get a dress for my niece who has a disability, and made it look amazing on her as well.Rose is amazing at what she does and has so much patience. She is an expert seamstress and can do anything you want. She is honest, caring and has your best interest in heart. She is not pushy and listened to what you the customer wants, and will do whatever she can in her power to make you happy. She is a lovely person both inside and out and is so welcoming. I feel she is like family to us now.I would recommend anyone going to San Jude’s Bridal. Best place to buy or alter a dress. Words can’t express how great she is and how kind hearted she is. AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING!!!! If i could give her more than a 5 rating I would!!!!

I got married close to 11 years ago and went to San Jude's Bridal. I'm not sure if Rose will remember me/us (my parents and I), but she and her family were so loving and so professional with us. I found my forever gown, I married my forever mate and San Jude's Bridal will forever be a huge part of why I felt so beautiful on my wedding date. Rose, if you remember me- please know, I'm living in Ottawa now (as that's where my hubby is from) and my parents have moved closer to me- in the Ottawa Valley (small town named Arnprior). I still have my gown although after two children . . . it doesn't fit anymore. But I'm still a huge fan of the service you provided us back in 2009! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. (Wedding date was October 3, 2009).

I have seen rose for my alterations for my wedding dress, my daughters grad dress and now her school uniform and I have not been more impressed. She is the sweetest lady, very reasonable prices, and exceptional work. She works with your time frame and it feels like vip service when you go to get the fittings done. I would highly recommend her to everyone who requires any sort of alterations.

My initial experience with Rose when purchasing my wedding dress was wonderful, she did exactly what i wanted with alterations to the dress.As for having my dress cleaned, i wouldn’t recommend having it done there.I took my dress in to have it cleaned and boxed professionally and when i picked up my dress, it was in a under the bed WalMart plastic bin and there was still some staining on the dress.If i had been told that it was going to be stored in a bin i would have reconsidered having it done there.The $200 i paid for this would not have been an issue if it had been a more professional job, now i have to have another company redo it and pay again for something i was under the impression was going to be done in the first place. I’m not sure it was understood what i wanted.The $200 cost is not the issue its the quality and unprofessional work thats the issue here.

Rose was the most patient and kind person helping me with my dress. She was exact with taking in my dress and right on time. Thank you!
