Good student pub. Cheap beer, decent good, hard working staff (but not enough of them). It seems good for students.We hit it after a long day at a conference. We would have preferred a quieter spot. But students on the dance floor looked happy.

Come here for the food, drinks, student culture, and by occasion sporting events and to hang out. I used to visit the Hub, and formerly when it was Wise Guys, every now and then when I was a student. Cozy modern bar with TVs and some pool tables as well.

Too few option on the menu; food size is not really big; the only choice on UM campus at the night; the food menu is mediocre.

Daily beer, cocktail, soup, and entree specials. Booze and spoons is a must for all cereal lovers. The food menu, including the specials will never disappoint. It is my favourite place to grab a bite on campus. The daily evening events are great if you need to wind down from studying. Service is good, even during its busy hours.

First time me and my sister came here we waited over an hour and did not get served even though we told someone about the wait. I decided to give the place another chance because things happen. Came here again same person who made us wait was working. The place was dirty the food have no flavour.

I came here often for lunch with a friend while studying at the university, and it was always a good experience. The staff is very friendly, there was always enough room to sit, and they have a good menu with reasonable prices.However, it is a little noisy and the music isn't always great. You hear everyone talking and it can get pretty loud sometimes. They don't ask people to be quiet when they're being loud, but if someone gets too much, they will be escorted away by security, and if someone is really bothering you, you can also ask security for help and they treat the issue respectfully (I have only needed to ask their help at one social, where a drunk individual was harrassing myself and my friends quite badly and getting physical, he was escorted away twice by security, didn't come back after the second time).Overall I would certainly recommend visiting the Hub if you're looking for a low-key place to eat on campus. But mind allergies, because a lot of their dishes have the same foods, let the server know if you're allergic to something (potato and tomato are a problem for me, but I can still get several dishes and they take allergies seriously).

Phenomenal (and only) place to go to at the University of Manitoba for drinks and bar food. There's vegan and gluten free accommodations, and the owner is very kind! The renovations look nice and it's definitely a great place to go if you want to de-stress from the woahs of school.

We went here to try the 2019 Burger Week burger, the Hot Mess. At first we asked the waitress if we could have the egg cooked over-hard, she went to the back and came back out and told us no. We then asked if we could just not have the egg on it, and again was told no, and there was no modifications allowed for the burger. We spoke with the manager and he went and told the chef to fully cook the egg so the yolk wasn't runny.When we got the burger, we had to put it on its side and eat it layer by layer, which seemed to work. That was until we got to the actual burger patty. I sliced into it, over the rest of the burger, so the mac and cheese and the grilled cheese on the bottom, and the patty wasn't fully cooked. It was pretty pink throughout and it grossed us out, so we sent it back and the manager did end up comping the meal for us without much trouble, which is the reason for the 2 stars.So in the end, the chef that didn't want to fully cook the egg, wasn't able to fully cook the actual hamburger.
