Warm Embrace Elder Care

We had Warm Embrace come into our mothers home for several months before she entered a retirement home. We found them to be warm, helpful compassionate people who were such a help to our mother in her time of need. No doubt we would recommend Warm Embrace to anyone needing help with an elderly loved one.

Our time with Warm Embrace was not as long as we intended due to hospitalization and the passing of my father in law. What we experienced, however, was truly a warm embrace. We found the caregivers supportive and attentive. They provided detailed reports of the care and assistance provided. What could have been a difficult journey for my father in law left him looking forward to the caregivers arrival and their help over night. He quickly bonded with them and enjoyed their caring approach to ensuring he was comfortable. From the back rubs and gentle massages, the chats and the treats they got him in the middle of the night when he wanted a pudding cup or a cookie, he was cared for in the way that we, and he, appreciated so much. Thank you to the caregivers and thank you to Warm Embrace for providing so much support and care when it was needed the most.

I used to work for Warm Embrace a little while back before I left town and they has been one of the best teams I've worked for. The owners and staff are wonderful and they really stand by their mission for the company! They always go above and beyond to ensure that every single client receives the most outstanding care! They really go out of their way to make sure that their services are perfected and unique to every individual to meet their needs and more. In August 2022 when my employer was faced with a significant health concern, we approached Warm Embrace to come on board as our care team. Theresa met us at home, and we put together a plan for help, seven days a week. From August until now Warm Embrace has supplied us with care givers carefully co-ordinated by Lisette. The staff have helped us with personal care, physical assistance with walking, food prep, medication reminders, house keeping, laundry, driving, and other duties as needed. We are very grateful for the thoughtful care we have had, and the attempt to meet our needs. Thank you, Warm Embrace.

I cannot thank the entire team at Warm Embrace for the care our mother received the past three years. Their caring, kindness and compassion was such a gift during a very difficult time. They communicated thoroughly, and also did everything in their power to adjust the schedule as we required more ( and sometimes less) care. Flexibility, transparency and professional to the very end. The journey with our mother would have been far more difficult, had it not been for the entire Warm Embrace team. I live in Alberta, and having the comfort of knowing that they were there to assist was like having a friend who cared on the other side of the country. Warm Embrace caregivers are awesome. Mom love her time with Carmen. During her visits they do puzzles, take walks, bake, do light cleaning together all the things mom wants to do. My mom was not keen to have someone come into her home but she really enjoys Carmen and looks forward to her visits. These visits help Mom feel more confident to stay in her own home and was a life saver for me when I went back to work and was just not able to depend as much time with her each day. Warm Embrace was very helpful when we needed the extra help. They are well organized and responsive to our needs as they changed.

The staff was very professional and extremely supportive in organizing our parents care, so we can continue to honor their wishes to remain in their own home.
