Kumon Math and Reading Centre of Ottawa - Vanier

I read some of the reviews and the ones that were low were either because they weren’t patient with the program or they didn’t like the instructor telling them the honest truth about their kids abilities. My advice to people is put ur ego down, because this center has been amazing! They start ur kids from the beginning and work their way up. My son and daughter have not only learned math, they are asking less questions in class, they working independently, they are now organized. It has been only 6 months. The instructors are perfect and the owner is AMAZING. I love how honest she is and she doesn’t colour coat anything.

The approach is great, fostering self-confidence and love of learning. And Siyang, the manager, is incredibly nice and helpful. Definitely worth the investment.

This Vanier Kumon facility has been a game changer for my kids. My daughter was struggling in grade 3 math and now at the end of grade 4, she is equal to her peers. The coordinator Siyang not just an owner (like some of the Kumon centers) but a mathematician. She knows what she is teaching and is very patient with the kids and honest with parents. My son started in SK and he is now in grade 1 doing multiplications and division. His teachers didn’t just notice his math skills but his organizational skills too.Based on my experience, Kumon made me realize all kids are smart, they just need a program to believe they are.Sincerely want to thank the Vanier Kumon! :D

Bad communication, mistreatment.

They dont teach your child math my son is 5 and really smart in math he knows more than his age i wanted to improve his knowledge but they made my son to get bored with the easy tests like 1+1=? and homeworks the only thing that they focus on it its only Time and waist your money and they have really poor and Disrespectful behaviorDont recomend it

Mes enfants y assistent depuis 2 ans, ils se font donner leurs devoirs en Français et il y a au moins un instructeur francophone pour leur guider. Je vois l'avancement de mes enfants, parfois on dirait plus lent mais je vois qu'à base de pratiquer ils achèvent compléter leurs devoirs dans le temps recommandé. À l'école, je ne m'inquiète pas de leur notes de mathématiques étant donné qu'ils ont des notes excellents. Merci équipe Kumon !
