My Day out with Rod was excellent. He has lots of experience and knowledge to get you into some fish.

This was my first time salmon fishing and it was awesome! Rod was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and patient with a newbie. I learned a lot going out with him and caught some big fish! Rod and his wife were very quick getting back to me with all of my emails and calls as well. Will definitely be recommending him to my friends and family. Thank you again Bent Rod!

Rod was just awesome, very knowledgeable, friendly. Overall was an amazing day. Only complaint I would make is that my whole body was sore the next day due to catching too many giant sturgeon. Would highly recommend!

Rod was knowledgeable, friendly and funny!We had such a great day out, thanks to Rod!We travelled from Australia and wanted to explore The Fraser River and Harrison Lake. We drove up the river and into Harrison Lake in Rod’s Jet Boat (21.5 foot). We were enjoying the Canadian scenery and looking for wildlife. We all climbed up a huge rock face (see pic) keeping an eye out for Bears and Cougars! Luckily, however to the kids dismay, we didn’t see any!We then drove back to the Fraser and threw a few lines in with Sockeye Salmon for bait! After about 10 mins we booked a Sturgeon!!An amazing and beautiful creature! It had human like eyes. We snuck a quick pic with it, the kids gave it a pat and we watched it swim off!Rod was an amazing fisherman and was right on the ball the whole time! He even makes his own lures.We loved it! Would highly recommend!

WOW whats an experience. We had booked a trip with BentRods a few months back. After being dissapointed by a few other local charters, we did not have high expectations. But let me tell you Rod exceeded all our expectations. We experienced a true master, a passionate fisherman at work. Rod was extremely friendly and knowledgable, he timed the tides and guided us to the locations that had the highest rate of fish. He was constantly scoping out where the cohos were rising and we moved spots to where the fish were, he angled the boat and managed to get perfect drifts across where fish were holding. He shared his bow and arrow" tactic with us

Just finished 5 days of salmon and sturgeon fishing with Bent Rods. I highly recommend Rod and Danena to organize a fishing trip of a lifetime. Rod goes the extra mile to get you on a fish. Will for sure book another trip with them.

Had the pleasure of going on an guided adventure with Bent Rods, what an experience it was!Rod was friendly, funny and most importantly knowledgeable about the fish, waters and surrounding areas.I'm not sure what could be added to make the trip any better, it was everything I expected and more.Will be booking another fishing trip and wont hesitate to recommend Bent Rods to anyone interested!

This is my third annual review. Took the family and my son's buddy out to experience the upper Fraser & tributaries and chase salmon with Bent Rods on his cool jet boat. Always nice to chat it up with Rod and build life-long memories for the next generation of anglers. Thank you Bent Rods! I have had to pleasure of going on three trips with Bent Rods this fishing season- Chinook walk n' wade (Vedder), Steelhead walk n' wade (Vedder), and Sturgeon/Chum boat trip (Harrison). Many family memories were made, as well as the teaching of valuable fishing knowledge. My 2020-21 fishing season has been my most productive fishing season because of the knowledge passed on from Rod. Beyond the trips, I was also able to see Rod's tackle put to work. The rockstar jig slayed the blackhead Chum this year (and my biggest Coho), with his blades out fishing roe this year for Chinook and Coho (size 3.5 in silver with green hologram, airbrush chartreuse orange/yellow dot, and copper with pink hologram). Danena is also amazing handling the office aspects of Bent Rods Guiding & Fishing, making bookings and tackles orders painless which great communicating and quick order processing. Fishing with Bent Rods will come an annual family event from here on out. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to partake in the many fishing opportunities the Fraser Valley has to offer.
