Kicking Horse Mountain Resort
Came here from Fernie and am quite disappointed. However, I hear from the locals it depends on the snow. I did meet a lot of really great people though. I'll have to come back after a snow dump.

Kicking Horse Mountain Resort
Gorgeous resort. Fabulous views and great variety in skiing, great for all levels of ability. Bit short on snow this season. Also not great at communicating in advance which lodges are truly ski in / out - but we will know that for next time! Eagle’s eye restaurant at the top of the gondola is a world class experience - did a separate review on that.

Kicking Horse Mountain Resort
Kicking Horse is the finest ski resort we’ve ever enjoyed. The short comfortable gondola ride to the top of the mountain and then the looong runs are just perfect. It’s been forever since we skied and Kicking Horse has spoiled us forever. Great service at Eagles Eye from Thomas ( he’s an outstanding server and personality). Great rentals and service at Selkirk’s for my equipment. Love this place!

Kicking Horse Mountain Resort
We did the Via Ferrata Ascension tour and it was so fun! Great intro to outdoor climbing if you've never done it before because it's so safe and easy to use the bars and steps here. Lenka was our guide and she was wonderful. Super patient, knowledgeable, friendly and encouraging, especially for those who are initially nervous. She also took wonderful photos for us which was so appreciated. I'd highly recommend doing at least one of the tours but definitely the ascension one! There's a fun suspension bridge, ropes, ladders, vertical climbs and even a tightrope portion. You'll be so glad you did it!

Standard services, attention to detail and amenities - lifties work to be efficient with loading and get everyone up the hill quickly. Hill conditions are what they are, but staff are constantly checking boundaries, conditions, asking how you're doing and give advice to experience the best the hill can offer on that day!

Kicking Horse Mountain Resort
We got trapped in Golden coming from Banff due to avalanche mitigation further up the pass. We thought it was the perfect opportunity to check out kicking horse! We got the lift ticket that allows you to use the smaller lift only and it was great! We didn’t have to pay for the full pass but still got the opportunity to ski some beautiful terrain! We were also impressed by the friendliness of the staff in the ticket booth as well as all the places in the village. Would love to come back and explore more of the resort! Overall we loved it!

Took the gondola to the top and hiked two of the hiking trails. We had a great time. The views from the top were spectacular.

Kicking Horse Mountain Resort
Amazing hill with a diversity of runs for everyone from beginner to expert. Lower mountain lifts are family/beginner friendly and have shorter lines. Upper mountain and gondola provide a mix of intermediate to advance/expert runs. A hill worth visiting! If you are there in the spring you may even see Boo the bear!

Kicking Horse Mountain Resort
Love this mountain. Favourite of them all. Some don’t like the gondola without mid-station, but I love the access it provides in a matter of minutes. Every time I come here the terrain, options and snow pack are endless. Unfortunately, this year the snow was scarce. Won’t stop me from returning.
