I had a fantastic experience recording my band's EP at this studio. From tracking to the mixing process everything about Matt's approach was super professional and I would highly recommend Rainy Day to any musician looking to capture their sound accurately on record.

We recorded the drums for our first EP at rainy day just a few days ago. The process was as painless as recording can possibly be. Matt was incredibly direct about billing and expectations in the studio. As long as you are prepared going in, you will recieve an excellent final product.Also, Matt is a fun guy to work with, and his flat rates can really help take the worry out of staring at the clock. He's got an excellent ear for rock drums, helping us build a kit and a sound that is powerful and weighty without being overcompressed or lifeless.If you want some tasty rock recordings for a reasonable price, Rainy Day is a solid choice.

Now I understand why Matt with Rainy Day comes highly recommended by fellow musicians. His professionalism was evident right from his first email response, it was prompt, clear and concise. He outlined expectations of the recording and production process. I never once had a concern during the process. He kept strict deadlines to keep our project on track. On top of being organized, he is a talented musician which allowed him to add that special layer to my songs. He pushed his ideas as a producer, but at the same time, allowed space for my input and creativity. He had tons of patience during mix revisions and wanted to make sure I was happy with the final product. Best of all, Matt is a nice guy and easy to get along with. Highly recommend.

Matt mixed my last album and I am very happy with results. He took notes well to help realize my vision and had great instincts that took the songs to unexpected places. He worked quickly, was patient with remixes, and his rates were very fair. I wouldn’t hesitate to work with him again.
