Fairview Animal Clinic

We were new to St. Catherines, recently bought a home here and got a puppy and were having a hard time finding a vet asap to get our puppy checked, vaccination shots, etc., this clinic was amazing in responding to our needs, plus we had two cats that moved with us, so needed a new vet. After calling many good rated vet places, this place responded immediately to our needs. Staff are extremely friendly and caring. ❤

I am so disappointed with the Dr and nurses at this location.I brung my dog here for the past 8 years and for them just to squeeze me for money. They told me my dog had 3 months to live last year in June it is now June 9th 2023 year later" The Dr had no emotion except telling me what I can do..... $$$$ so I got a second opinion from a animal clinic in hamilton. In hamilton they gave me a correct diagnosis and told Me my dog has more then 3 months to live he's got miner kidney disease and not to worry and prescribed me proper medication I would NOT recommend this clinic or these Dr at fairview animal clinic in st catherians especially if they can't properly diagnose and after all the ultrasounds and x rays

We brought our 11-year-old Lab in to be euthanized - he had an aggressive, fast-growing cancer. It was horrible. I don’t know if they used too little sedative to make him relax, or what, but instead of relaxing, he started to scream. Dr Alicia rushed in and quickly gave him an IV of the same sedation they use in surgery, and he fell asleep. But that’s my last memory of my beloved boy, a gentle soul who never hurt a soul. I promised him a peaceful end and he trusted me.I still hear his screams, I’ll hear them for the rest of my life. I don’t know why we were even still taking him to Fairview; Dr Heather had already botched two operations on him and it cost us over $2,000 for the emergency vet to repair one of them. There’s a reason the young vets come and go so quickly there. Take your pet somewhere else!

Overall amazing staff here, was able to get my dog Nikita in on a short notice to get her wounds checked out and given medication and shot updates all in under an hour! Recommend this vet to everyone who’s looking, couldn’t imagine bringing my fur baby anywhere else.

Amazing caring staff ! We moved out of town a few years back but continue to take all our pets here.

I brought my best friend and companion for his end of life care. They were kind thoughtful and professional. My almost 12 year old dog recieved respectful kind end of life care. That made the worst day of my life a little less unbearable.Marley is free of pain and I thank these ladies for the kindness and respect they gave him. And for the kindness they showed our family.

Both Drs. Alicia and Heather Combe have been ABSOLUTELY STELLAR providing veterinary care to all our furbabies over many years.The support staff are amazing! Everyone does their utmost to provide prompt competent compassionate care. Our heartfelt thanks go to all members of the Fairview Animal Hospital team.

On the advice of my friend we took our cat here to get euthanized, as we were not happy with our current vet.Although I wanted to give a 1star review due the nature we have visited, we have had to put down 3 cats within a year. Heather's team has been nothing but compassionate, loving and understanding.We look forward to better visits in the future!!

Just visiting the area and need some prescription food for our dog and they were wonderful at getting it for him.
