Mike is really the chosen one lol!! You can count on this honest mechanic in a pinch. Mike came when he said he would, was very professional, fixed the problem, and gave me a fair price. He helped me out when my car broke down and I had to leave it to go to work. He worked on the car, fixed my ignition switch, and fixed my steering column so I could drive home tonight without missing a beat. Mike saved my trip, so thank you!

My wife's car had an alternator going bad. And while I was lucky enough she made it home, I had to decide between taking the time to try to reach a mechanic shop on a possibly weak battery and alternator, and etc, or have it dealt with in our driveway. Instamek provided a quote over the phone, and even managed to offer to come one day earlier, they showed up on the scheduled time, and took care of the replacement, got the oil changed and when I was in and out of the house to check if they needed anything, they were being very transparent and explaining the whole thing, as well as answering questions and advising on the whole battery, that was fine, after all (they recommended to check after some time too, just in case).

First time working with Mike and the experience was great. He came to replace my timing belt and water pump. The guy is courteous, friendly, and very professional. He got the job done faster than I expected. I'll definitely use him again.

So I'm updating because it's been several months since I first had this business take a look at my hunk of junk. First of all, they are prompt to reply to messages, a bonus. The best part about them is their honesty. They don’t try to upsell you on services and they’re straight to the point. Their prices are good too. I have had a gasket replaced, 2 oil changes, and they just redid all of my brakes. They did a tune up and checked out everything. I have even texted them in the past about issues that have popped up and they were able to help via text. Great business, great mechanics. And they come to you. I 1000% recommend them.

Mike came to change my brake pads and rotors at home. He is very knowledgeable, friendly, and very efficient. He left the place very clean and I'm very pleased with his work. Definitely using him for any repairs in the future.

Mehhh..didn't answer anything I inquired about. After sending a very detailed email, someone responds how can I help you? I have a couple vehicles that needed work and I was very specific and detailed about what needed to be done and what I was after from them, needless to say I really wasn't into explaining everything for a second time. I just need a quote on each thing individually emailed to me and I said after I would then get back to them if I wanted to go forward with the repairs by them.

Mike came to my house (Kelowna) , connected his $x,000 OBD reader that can read and reset Toyota and Mercedes private codes , diagnosed and solved my issue in minutes . Toyota dealer would have charged a fortune. Love these guys !
