My daughter was so happy to get in to one of the NSEC camps this summer! She is 10 and has had an amazing week making friends, learning about horses and riding. The facility is clean and organized and the instructors have been patient and helpful. The communication from staff via email throughout the summer has been clear and very responsive. We hope to attend a camp again next summer!

I am a 31 year old beginner rider and have been attending NSEC's group lessons since September. The facility is very nice, easy to access (even by transit) and both staff and other students and boarders are very friendly and helpful. As intimidating as it was to start something new at my age, it was all so much easier due to the school's general atmosphere. The horses are very sweet (most of them at least!) and I look forward to coming in early on Sunday to groom and tack my horse before my class. It's been a lovely experience so far and I look forward to challenging myself even more in the coming years!

I've never actually gone in here due to covid. I sit on the side of the road and watch the horses being fed with a horse obsessed 3 Yr old girl that I look after. The staff are just lovely, every week they approach us and bring horses over for us to pet. They are super engaging and kind towards us every week, even when we have our shy days.

My daughter has been riding at NSEC for 5 years. She has progressed through the schooling program as a beginner rider and now leases a horse. The experience has been invaluable as she's not only learned to ride but has taken on the responsibilities associated with being around the stables.The qualified instructors care about their students and the staff work hard to maintain a clean, healthy environment for the horses and their riders. The location is very convenient from Vancouver.As a non-rider myself, it has been a very positive experience.

My 5 year old daughter was introduced to horses here and she LOVED it. The staff are very patient and friendly. The horses all looked healthy, happy and loved. Great experience

NSEC is an amazing places the horses are healthy and happy and they love their job! The staff are very friendly and will come to help if they see that you need it. I have been riding at NSEC for three years now and I love it, the experience of getting to ride so many different horses is amazing because if you go on to lease or buy a horse than it will be easier to learn how to ride it. I have learned so much at NSEC and even if you don’t end up leasing or owning a horse you can still have amazing bonds with the schooling horses.

I ride here and I love it the instructors are amazing and the horses are healthy and kind and never buck or rear.They have great arenas and a great property!I would say they should get better tack and maybe repaint the barn {inside}But without that five star all the way

My daughter is doing a summer camp at the North Van Equestrian Centre and LOVES it! She is 9 and has done a variety of summer camps throughout the years and says that this is hands down her favourite. The instructors are amazing and patient and the time spent learning about horse care is awesome. It isn’t just about riding but encompasses all aspects of horse care from tacking up, grooming etc. Then of course there is the riding! My daughter has improved 10 fold in ability and confidence in just a few short days. We definitely want to continue to do lessons here.
