The tour is guided and free. Liz guided us through the home offering many details about the historical aspect of the summer cottage. We learned a lot about FDR and Eleanor, as well as their family. This park is still operated by both the US and Canada. Enjoy lunch at the Prince Cafe. We ate a BLT, Chicken pesto panini, and hot dog. Each entree came with chips and dill dip. We also endulged in a brownie sundae, delicious. Hope you enjoy your trip!

Well its always nice to see how the uber rich lived their lives. But a neat piece of history. Tour is not very long which is good but you get to see the inside of the house. Pretty views. Nice place to spend the afternoon. Lots to see.

Campobello is a friendly quiet beautiful place. My wife and I spent the day on the island with our dogs. If you're into hiking, there's plenty to do. You can drive to most of the site seeing places. Go there!

One of the best park experiences we've had anywhere, even though it was a rainy day. Wonderful, super-helpful and knowledgeable staff. We learned so much about the Roosevelt family. Start at the Visitor Center, where you can get a map and see a short orientation film. Tours of the Roosevelt cottage" are in small groups every few minutes. Tours of the Hubbard Cottage are on your own. We had lunch at the Prince Cafe

Such a beautiful spot filled with so much history! It was torrential rain when I was there, so I didn't get a chance to fully explore all the trails in the park. I think a second trip may be needed! My tour guide was wonderful and brought alive the spirit of the Roosevelts. The Visitor's Center is full of information as well as fun souvenirs.
