Starr Burger
Good ole burger place. If your looking for fancy toppings and gourmet burger, this is not the place. If you're like me and love a good proper grilled burger with fountain pop and fries/onion rings, this is for you. Yes the place is dated, but so am I.

Starr Burger
Starr burger is one of my favorite burger joints. Great retro style diner atmosphere. Reliably delicious. Ive had most items on their menu and it's all delicious. Sometimes the food takes a while ..but it's well worth the wait. The milk shakes are to die for. Even their salads can be customized.

Very disappointed, rotten potatoes and the steak on a kiser was like chewing leather. More than half the meal went in the garbage and they are closed now so can't even go back. May 11th 2023 closing staff should all be fired for serving this garbage. Wasted $28.

By far, the best burger joint in Whitby! Friendly and speedy service. Decent sized parking lot. Clean bathrooms. Lots of tables. The food is the star here, pardon the pun. The burgers are delicious and huge! Always freshly made and served hot. The fries are freshly cut and served with the skin not removed. Everything was amazing! Will return for sure!

I have been dining here for years with my significant other, dating way back to when they were more 1950s-themed, with old film projectors on the counters where the booths used to be. Despite the fact that prices have risen everywhere lately, I will still dine here just as regularly. Their poutines are HUGE, the burgers are absolutely delicious, the fries on their own are always hot and yummy. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. Decor is average, but let's face it, you're not coming here to stare at the walls--it's the food that's a marvel. Yes, they do take a while to make your meal, but that's the price of quality. If you want something worthwhile, you'll wait, otherwise go to a drive-thru. The only downside is that they took the Polish sausage off the menu, and that was a favourite of mine (and, I'm sure, of others). Wishing them continued success, always! Cheers!

Great burgers, fries, rings and poutine! One of the best burger places we have been in Whitby. Ordered for take out and brought home. Everyone enjoyed their food and we’ll be back!

We decided to try out this older place that we haven't tried before. The staff was super friendly and helpful, the place was clean, tidy and well lit. They even had a star on the ceiling see pictures. The place was busy and a steady stream of customers but still seating was available. The food and drinks were fantastic, they even catered to children. See pictures!!

I this is also wheelchair accessible, I am visually impaired and there are no impedances or stairs when you use the back entrance from the parking lot. was very hungry, and was visiting my aunt late at night time. On my way, we passed by STARR Berger, and decided to stop in for a quick bite. The place was very clean, and the atmosphere was a cinematic burger joint! The pictures on the wall, the floors, tables and even the kitchen screams this looks like a burger joint in a movie( so perfect!They even had milkshakes my stepdaughter loved! The owner was very friendly, and welcoming as we’re all the employees very helpful and attentive to our needs.Everyone is a conversationalist, and even brings a warm atmosphere when there are more patrons in the dining area. I would highly recommend this place, after extracurricular, when it’s too late for cooking. When you’re on your way home, and want to fill up before eating the food at home. We’ve all been there, this is the go to! Family owned and operated, that is a tasty burger while making you feel good about eating it when you know it’s so wrong!Thanks Danny

living in this area for almost my entire life, starr burger has always been a shining starr of a restaurant. i used to go a lot when i was a child for their affordable yet delicious food. i hadnt been in a while so i decided to pop over and grab a poutine today. instant. nostalgia. despite having the same retro decor, everything was beautifully clean and not grungy like i expected. the poutine - spectacular. the fries had a crackling crisp exterior paired with a lovely soft interior. real cheese curds which melted perfectly over the fresh fries, paired with a hearty gravy. love this place!
