A lovely little trail leads to a quiet beach with plenty of logs to sit on or around. The trail take 10-15 minutes and has a few steep rocky parts but is fairly tame overall. The beach is made up of many stones, but hasany comfortable spots to sit.Generally it is very quiet and quite peaceful and in the afternoon has lots of shade to help keep the sun off in the summer.I wouldn't necessarily reccomend this spot for swimming, but for bringing a folding chair and book.

Great little park! Perfect for a short hike, with a beautiful reward of the ocean at the end!Suitable for all ages. It can get a little muddy, but paths are wide, and there seems to always be lots of room to go around the mud! There are pit toilets at the start, as well as a garbage can and recycling container. There are no other garbage cans on the route, so please pack out any garbage you create.Lovely view of Taylor Beach at the end. If you take the Helgesen Bridle Trail, it leads past a gorgeous Garry Oak meadow! We passed quite a few people and their dogs on the trail. Despite this, it was quiet, and you quickly forget your stress as you enjoy the sounds of the water in the creek, and the wind through the tall trees!

Great place to go for a short walk, and a beach lunch. There is only about a 900m walk down a hilly path past two small streams and a pond to get to Taylor beach. The beach itself is pretty cool, with lots of rocks for skipping and tons of places to sit. To the right you get a lot of big boulders and rocks to climb (some look good enough for bouldering) and to the left you get a nice walk that eventually turns into sand and continues to Witty's lagoon.

It's an easy hike to get to if you want to get away from the chaos. Such a nice place to just sit and watch nature for some peace and quiet.. perfect for family with young kids to play as well.

Short little hike to the beach and then you are hit with some beautiful views! I find this beach a little quieter that most...which I like. You can walk along the beach, crawl up on the rocks, or go back to the trails.

Park in the main parking lot and choose the winding trail down to the beach. Washrooms are at the trailhead as well as a map. On the beach to your right as you face the ocean you find a rocky outcrop and to the left a long expanse of beach -Taylor Beach. Most of the beach is shingle but there a few patches of sand. We saw lots of bird life and a sea lion!

Definitely enjoyed a nice quiet time here, hardly anyone around. Walking along the shore listening to the waves and a view that doesn't seem to end in places. Probably a great spot for sunset/sunrise pics as it is really wide open views. No sand on this pebble beach, plenty of driftwood logs to sit on or a good game of the sand is lava" game and balancing your way along the beach. I would recommend this location for its views and vibe. I personally will be back and walk down the opposite side of Taylor Rd. and see what that has to offer."

Beautiful walk down to Taylor beach. The walk is easy and under a tree canopy. There are washroom facilities available here. There is a few trails available to take a different route if you wanted to. There beach is nice but it is not sandy, it’s like small river rocks. Overall it’s a nice experience and would recommend coming here.

This was a hike with lots of ups and downs. (Still able to do it in flip flops) I would say took about 15 to 20 minutes at a steady pace. Bring a water bottle. And the more scenic path is worth the adventure! We were unsure what to expect. This is a lovely spot to go spend a few hours, good for a picnic, or jist quiet time with a book. The beach has beautiful round rocks and even some driftwood/ logs to sit on. Plan ahead, bring snacks, a thermos with coffee and definately a towel incase you want to get your feet wet. Pet friendly!!
