Food is good. But not as good as everyone says it is. The soup dumplings tasted good, but didn’t have that much soup in it. The drunken chicken was a little overdone, ok flavors. The pork soup and fried intestines were good though. Service is ok. Need to try Scarborough area instead.

The best Xiao long bao place in Ontario. Their xiao long bao is so juicy and their juice is great. Given it’s an authentic Chinese restaurant, their service isn’t that friendly but their food is top notch.Fried rice is so generic that it’s very difficult to impress with fried rice but theirs is impressive.Green bean is also easy to make but their green bean is just perfect.Their dimsum dishes like xiao long bao or the chives dumplings, shuimai, all amazing.Honestly don’t get why their rating is so low.

Food is yummy. Must book a table at the weekend. Soup port dumping buns mustOrder. Noodles are very good. It is hand-made.Good that the food is not so salty.For sure, we will come back.Thanks, the chefs

The food quality has clearly gone downhill. This time, the food was not up to par since it was lukewarm and had no taste whatsoever. Even food courts are actually better. It was probably one of the worst xiao long bao (most were broken) and the Shanghainese noodles I've tried. The service is nonexistent and the waitress was far from happy to stay there. The only redeeming quality is the clean place.

Shanghai style restaurant, similar to Asian Legend. No msg. Dishes are to our liking. Service is fast, they turn their tables quickly. Dollar per plate is pricey. Two people at $60 for lunch (it depends on how much you want to eat and what you are ordering). It is a little over the top in today's inflationary times. Gave it a 3 star because of cost per plate.

We went at 430 and had no trouble getting a table before the dinner rush. The service is fast and reliable. We ordered a few dishes including the Hot and Sour soup that is one of the best in the city. The Xiao Long Bao is very delicious and equally as tasty as the Ding Tai Fung chain from Asia. I can’t wait to come back to try the other items.

This is not the same Ding Tai Fung in Asia. Their menu is very similar but not the same. It is Shanghai style cooking, which is famous on steam dumplings.Food is average and you will not disappoint but no surprise either.Services here is excellent!Parking can be a real challenge on the weekend.Overall I think if you have not try shangaiess food before, you can come to this Ding Tai Fung and give it a try.Price is a bit on the high side but is far.
