BC SPCA Sunshine Coast

I had to take my guinea pigs in to be re-home due to personal reasons and the staff was very helpful and nonjudgmental. They even let me see the room they will stay in till they find them a new home, it was super spacious and full of lots of fun things for them. I feel confident they are in good hands and will be taken care of super well till they find the perfect home for them.

They had my puppies after a shady bovier breeder Victoria weldwood whom had approached me after her son told her that the mom had rejected the pups.( in hindsite her son had just been dumped by my sister who was helping me bottle feed my pups I never dreamed that someone could be so underhanded and malicious) Victoria seemed quite genuine as she went as far as to have her spouse pick me and the puppies up in Vancouver. So the day I was coming to pick them back up as they were on solid food to be sent a message saying don't bother coming over she surrendered the dogs to spca..i called that day they never returned my call till next day at 5pm. To be told it would be 480 to get my puppies... I asked they been there a day and there 4 weeks old. She saus 30 times 8 puppies times 2 days. $480. I said that crazy they were brought in day b4 . I was told I would have to speak to manager anyway I said thank you expected to be put on hold but get told she be back in a week. I asked is there anyone else to talk to. Answered no . so I was waiting all week friday rolls around no call .... Finally a very rude lady calls me to say there was nothing she was willing to do and if I wNted them it was now 240 times 12 days. I pleaded and was hung up on. I had waited a long time to breed my dogs and 4 of the pups were for family and the other 4 donated to be trained as trained therapy animals. Truly aweful people to do that and feel justified.

They are very compassionate and make sure are lost hurt or stolen furry friends are taken good care of thank you and they also help with getting you dog or cat fixed thank you so much for helping

We enjoyed visiting the soon to be in there forever home, four legged friends. The location is well managed and has plenty of room for the four legged friends to roam and explore, we were greeted warmly and were grateful for the opportunity to visit and make a modest contribution.

After not having my dog for awhile. And seen he was still not adopted out the girls were very good I missed him so much they let me have my boy back . They took very good care of him and they knew he was a smart boy. I want to thank the staff so much diseal home and very happy boy. And giving the cats lots of love pictures to come to u soon thanks agaim

So amazing. They matched our family up with the perfect dog.

We adopted Mickey (renamed Thunder) a wonderful ten month old German Shepherd Labrador mix from the very helpful and kind staff last weekend!!

I want to thank them as my dog ended up there hurt from Hope. Danielle was in constant contact with me on how he was doing till I was able to travel to get him back thank you you guys rock
