Newbys Vacuums

I have been using Newby/Superior Vacuums for years, my Mom used to get her vacuum and carpet cleaner serviced there for years as well! I recently had a repair done on my carpet cleaner and was interested in knowing more about the Sebo vacuums. I had a lot of questions, and was very impressed with the knowledge of the staff here - I had all my questions answered, and found they were very helpful. They carry a lot of quality machines and accessories. Their new location is great - big and bright!

I came to the store with my husband looking to fix our Mielle power head. We bought at this Newbys Vacuums" store a couple of parts needed for the repair. We found the parts to be over priced.What happened next was the reason for giving "Newbys Vacuums" a one star review:As my husband and I waited to have the Mielle power head fixed we noticed one of the workers approach the person fixing our power head and whisper a price...we found that action to be extremely shady and I then asked what was going to be the cost for the repair. His reply was that he had to look it up first... I told him I had heard him already price the repair to the other worker.We will not return to this place because we found an extreme lack of transparency in the way they delt with us and also for their super over priced parts.My advice to the "Newbys Vacuum" store staff is BE CLEAR and TRANSPARENT with all your dealings with ALL your clients!Don't make it look like you have prices according to who walks into the store."

I first spoke with Greg at the North store and explained my dilemma. He was very helpful.Here is my story.I had dropped my meile off at a close neighbourhood vacuum store. After a week with no call back I contacted the neighbourhood store and they than informed me they would need to order in a part that would take another 4-6 weeks to arrive. My Vacuum is under warranty. They offered to do a temporary fix for $70. I declined. I than phoned Superior Vacuum (north store) and Greg said to bring it in to the South location (closer to me) and they should have it fixed in a few days. I dropped it off and less than 24 hours I had my vacuum back in perfect working order. To top it off the part the first store said I needed was not the part that needed to be replaced. Thanks for the great job Superior Team. I am spreading the word of your great service with my neighbours and friends.

Came in on a Sunday, and my vacuum was looked at immediately. Estimated until the afternoon for a diagnosis, and to my surprise, called back shortly after to let me know the issue, and that it could be fixed and picked up same day!This vacuum is ~10 years old, and has seen some things. He replaced both filters (gave the old ones back as proof) and the part that was broken (clarified it wasn't brand new" out of the box but was in perfect shape). Very reasonable repair price

We had our Nilfisk Central Vac installed by this company 6 years ago and it is great! We have not had any issues until today when I noticed a crack in my vacuum cord (my cleaner's fault- long story) and I tried to fix" it myself but I totally pooched it and needed a new cord. I went in and spoke to Hani and bought a new cord and he gave me a great deal on it without me even asking! I went to vacuum my carpet upstairs with my new cord when I returned home and the motor in my power head went (great timing). I went back and he helped me pick out a fantastic new power head to meet my needs- he was not pushy and told me to take my time. I even got to try different ones out to help me choose which one I wanted. I am so pleased with the amazing customer service! The guys over here hooked me up!! Brought in my vacuum for a repair and they ended up getting it fixed with all new parts, free of charge! Blaine and the rest of the crew were so friendly and helpful! Would highly recommend supporting this local business over the big box stores! They know their stuff in there!

I was in regarding some repair work that had been done on my machine. They met me in the middle on some warranty issues, which was very fair. The new show room looks great, and is very well stocked. I would go back.

I am a person whom only trusts people whom know what they are doing. we started with Eddie in 2011 and have continued with him repairing our commercial vacuums, personal Panasonic and Electrolux, H20 water sweeper etc. As i Began doing deliveries Eddie, had me pick up as well from commercial clients. He explained Vacuums are not always built to handle lots of gravel and other stuff. This he educated me, thoughtfully about buying the vacuum to match the job. I have seen high end, lower end vacuums and seen Eddie and staff treat each device as a special one. I have brought Vacuums in from seniors, whom got it 3rd hand, Eddie makes it work as if new. I don't expect every one to work great, but he tells you yes its worth fixing or don't waste money, ie repair costs more than newer one. Thank you for great work.

I was cleaning hair from my roller and then ball bearings went everywhere. Searched online for the part then decided to not wait a week and contacted SV. Wow! Very pleasant, two day service, my Dyson runs as if it is brand new and it was totally cleaned.
