Went two days after their official opening.Great atmosphere, nice decorations, bright, refreshing Californian vibes (their concept).Staff were all attentive, helpful, and friendly.Food was a touch too salty for majority of the food items we ordered but nonetheless delicious! We did inform staff for their kitchen could tinker the salt content for future reference.Drinks - good variety of cocktails, but did taste a little watered down.Would recommend and would go back. Great addition to the area!

We went as a family of 3 and loved it! We didn’t realize it was grand opening!So just as we got there one of the hosts was waiting for guests. She was almost right beside the parking lot welcoming guests and got our name and info right away. Such great service! It looked so busy but we got our table within 10 minutes. Very well run. Just to note here, parking was hard to come by because there are 2 big restaurants sharing the parking lot.The vibe and decor was so bright and comfortable. Casual cali style. If I can be really really really picky, the washrooms were underwhelming. So don’t expect fancy restrooms that some other places have. Minor point.Food was surprisingly really tasty. We LOVED the sticky Korean ribs… so meaty and delicious! A must get! The birdie burger was solid and the chicken dish with spiced rice was tasty but our third favorite out of the 3 dishes. We went with our 6 year old and the Korean ribs and chicken dish was too spicy which is fine because he loved the burger and fries. We didn’t see a kids menu but we also didn’t ask for one.Service was amazing. Prompt and so friendly. Food came out in good time and we were surprised because it was so busy.Bravo to all the staff! A well run operation!

thank you so much birdies for one of the best nights we’ve had all summer! the best new spot in Vancouver, hands down one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. Food was so yummy, the presentation for each dish was beautiful and everything was so flavourful. The chicken main pollo loco was 10/10 my favourite, two big pieces of really well seasoned chicken with incredible Mexican style rice, and the calamari was some of the best I’ve ever had! cocktails are SO well made, super high end presentation AND taste for the price. you really feel like you’re in California! their happy hour selection is massive and has so many good deals, spicy verdita marg is a must have. our server Lara is our new best friend, she really made the whole experience 10 times better! their manager Daniel was so sweet and funny and nice, and their other manager Andy came by to thank us for coming and gave us some incredible soft serve on the house as we left! the whole staff have the kindest, warmest vibe and make you feel like you’ve known them forever and like they’re new friends. the provisions shop on the way out is amazing, if you keep your receipt from your meal you get 10% off which is also incredibly smart. already talking about making the next reservation, we will be going here all summer!

Very happy to have BIRDIES close to home in Burnaby. Opening day today and very successful!!!Delicious menu with a lot of variety , and drinks menu very attractive .The service offered by Bernardo our waiter and Daniel , the manager , was very professional and courteous.We had cider and freshly squeezed margarita as drinks. Our food was Marge Pizza , cauly wings ( twice, very delicious) and calamari with a very lovely surprise : the green sauce …. Exquisite and succulent!!Besides we visited the BIRDIES PROVISION SHOP, where we got Parmesan, jam and pickles , nice service offered by Alessandro .It is a blast to have BIRDIES in North Burnaby.We will visit again!!

Great vibe, service was excellent everyone was helpful and made sure you got what you wanted. 2 person Tables unfortunately were small could barely hold two main dish, one appetizer and two glass of water and a jug of water. Had to give the server back the jug of water.Nice to see and easy grab and go area. And a separate takeout window.

This was our first time at Birdies and we had a very pleasant experience. Our server Alexander was very attentive, kind and helpful as we navigated the new menu. It was extremely busy but Alexander’s service was excellent and he took good care of us. We had the yuzu wings, angry shrimp and the pollo loco and I highly recommend them all. Drinks wise we had the spicy verdita margarita (very tasty if you like the vegetal flavour), and the Paloma Rosa (nice smokey flavour). We will definitely be back for another date night.

Good vibes great service food and drinks are lovely and the price is right. The only challenge is finding parking during lunch hours or on weekends. We went there on a Sunday for brunch and apart from the main dishes and coffees we also had Sunst Old Fashioned, Mimosa and Key Lime bar.

Really great atmosphere and service. Beautiful interiors and they really marketed themselves well! The drinks were delicious and so was our brunch — will need to go back for their main menu. Service is quick and attentive. Hosts up front were pleasant. Pricier but a good spot for casual eats or a gals day. Note, parking is tough with a smaller lot. Street parking is limited, mostly paid. Circled the lot and area which took me about 15mins to find free parking at around 1pm.
