Affordable prices for a decent meal, generous portions, they offer a student discount during lunch. I've tasted the chicken and the pork since they rarely have the other dishes available for supper.Tasty, only serve you one kind of rice (brown with beans) bananas are a bit dry, no macaroni salad and tiny portion of lettuce and tomato. Place could improve its presentation and cleaning. Better order in advance otherwise they skip your order and prioritize take out and keep you waiting. I used to go time to time but unfortunately this happened: I ordered and asked if I could have the plantin from my meal since I was feeling dizzy because of the hunger and she said I had to wait since there was no more, I ask if it'll take more than 20 min, she laughed and answered no about 5min then I asked to have my drink but she ask me to let pass the other customer cuz he was waiting to pay his meal. Note that the man came after me, well they start talking in creole about people not calling to order and expect to be served that they should call if they want their food to be ready... I simply left very disappointed

Taste good and great price for Quantity but a little to much grease on the griot for my taste but it up there with meli-melo for the quality and it a bit cheaper. They also have specials deals so it definitely worth checking it out for true and authentic Haitian cuisine.

The meals are delicious with generous portions and decent prices (not to mention the student discount!). The rice was flavorful, the pork was a little on the dry side, the chicken was tasty. The plantain was great too. The lady at the counter was very sweet.

Nevertheless, I must mention that the cozy dining area, with its handful of tables for four, would have been a good option too.While the interior could benefit from a bit of tender loving care, the tantalizing aromas of home cooking engulf the space, captivating the senses.The friendly staff swiftly prepared our order, and we were delighted to find that the portions are still generously sized, easily satisfying two people. The exceptional value for money truly stood out.Having been a regular patron of Marabou for quite some time, I can confidently say that it never disappoints. If you find yourself craving the rich and flavorful Créole cuisine, a visit to Marabou is a must.

Is homemade food, nothing fancy but very tasty, the portion are big and the plates are not expensive, definitely a must go place if you are in the area...

Not my favorite version of haitian food and they prepare it in advance so not the most fresh, but it is pretty good nonetheless and not expensive. Feels very authentic and the ladies running the place are very nice.

Classic Haitian spot. Been going since Marianne days. Not the best Haitian restaurant but I think they good.
