I’ve grown up in Goderich Ontario. I have to say Paddy O’Neils is the comfiest restaurant in town. My absolute favourite is the macaroni and cheese! The servers I’ve gotten to know and love. Are all friendly delightful people. Who are very good conversationalists. The restaurant is overall very clean and tidy. Every time I’m seated at a table it is scrubbed spotless! Being in this restaurant gives me an amazing sense of community about what I miss living in my childhood small town. Thank you to all the servers, kitchen staff, and everyone else for making numerous years of Paddy’s a great experience. I always come back every time I come home. ❤️

We enjoyed a lovely meal on the patio of Paddy O’Neill’s. It is located on Goderich’s SquareGood food and service. This is a lovely way to enjoy Goderich’s historic downtown.March 20, 2022We had aReturn trip to Paddy O’Neill’s we enjoyed a generous portion of lasagna and garlic bread. Extensive and varied menu. Immediate and courteous service. Meals always perfectly prepared. Generous portions. Competitive prices. Lovely ambiance. Bathrooms are always immaculate.UPDATE -Went on Saturday after lunch rush. Five customers at bar being served by one bartender. Five customers in dining area being served by two wait staff. Ethan immediately took our orders and brought glasses of water. Ethan did not return at all. Food arrived just shy of one hour after ordering. My food certainly tasted like it had been sitting for quite the while before being brought out. Different staff had to be called over to get water refill and bill. Never did get bill. Had to go to register and have different waitress to settle bill. Kids meal that comes with juice was charged extra $3 for the included juice. Waitress was frustrated for having to do all of Ethan's work and informed us, we told him three times but he didn't."Always my favorite place for lunch in Goderich ruined due to terrible management. No one to manage and deal with lazy incompetent staff."

A picturesque setting only surpassed by the glow and warmth inside. Landed in middle of live music. Expansive menu offering something for everyone. Wings were deliciously paired with a pitcher to wash it down. They mean business when large is specified. Potions size are generous. Thank you so much Ethan for making the evening unforgettable.

Came here for dinner, we sure love it. The Food is Amazing, Obviously a superb cook. The Atmosphere is spot on. Our Waitress, Chris, was very Attentive. Really liked her. Prices are Great. Can't wait to come back. We drove from Seaforth, so happy we did .

Service was trying. I had to go to the bar twice to get our drinks. My meal was ok. Portions were small. I got the Chicken Sizzle. My two breasts were really small and they were Cajun style and dry. My Ceasar salad was tasty. My girlfriend 3 cheese tortellini was good apparently minus the tortellini was frozen. Will not be return. First impression wasn't good.

Normally I only post about positive experiences but this place is truly a horrible experience. Food was ok. What was super upsetting, was to see how a manager treated a family dining on the patio. They had been sitting there for over 20 mins with what seemed a well mannered dog. Welcomed by the server, ordered drinks and meals, dog was seen. Abruptly the pub manager came out yelling about the dog not being welcome and the police being called. It was so sad to see people treated that poorly. For this reason my family will never come back to your restaurant, we support business that have common decency.

DO NOT VISIT!!!! Worst service in beautiful Goderich. So many better venues. Stay away with a 10 foot pole.We visited today and had a pup with us, we asked the waitress if we sit on the parking lot patio not the main patio and enjoy a family meal with our pup. She agreed and seated us, served us drinks and asked for our lunch order. Within minutes of receiving our drinks the psycho manager, a fat woman with short blonde hair comes out screaming to get out and leave. When asked why she says because of the dog, who was asleep at the moment and causing no issues and again we were on a table in the street parking not the main patio. We explained the waitress seated us. Where she yelled again she didn’t care and we must leave or she’s calling the police. We tried to compromise and she wouldn’t. She further made us pay for drinks which we didn’t enjoy.I have told all my neighbors in Goderich, and those that visit. I’ve also sent an email to the mayor. And since my child starved until we found a new place I will also bring a Small Claims Court Claim and report the incident to the HRTO.

Was a good spot but this year we came up and ordered a pizza! Only to get something out of a box! Nobody expects to get box pizza in a restaurant it was actually shocking and disappointing
