I have had great hair for about 10 years. All because I've got a terrific stylist who knows me and knows my hair. I met Stephanie - owner and stylist extraordinaire - when Stephanotis was W Hair, truly about 10 years ago. Since then, I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. When W Hair turned into Stephanotis, I loved the new look. But it was Stephanie's skill and talent that keeps me coming back. Five years ago, we moved from Ottawa to Toronto - but I never changed my hair salon. In fact, one of my key reasons for returning to Ottawa every couple of months is to get my hair cut and coloured at Stephanotis. From thoughtful consultation (she'll tell you honestly what is - and is not - possible) to a great sense of colour and a terrific ability to 'see' a cut before she picks up the scissors, Stephanie is truly amazing. And I love that she - and her team - are regularly learning about the latest and greatest techniques by attending the latest and greatest seminars, workshops and courses. I have recommended Stephanotis to my friends, many of whom are now fans and clients. By far the best salon - and stylist - in Ottawa. I highly recommend this amazing salon.

I've been a client of Stephanotis Hair for around 10 years now, and I've never considered going anywhere else!I always leave satisfied and enjoy going there! They have some very talented, creative, and friendly hairdressers who work very hard to satisfy customers. I have gone there and coloured my hair many different colours and they have been able to leave my hair incredibly surprisingly healthy when I leave as well as planning out the long term to make my regrowth less noticeable.I especially love the dynamic between the hairdressers. They evidently work together flexibly and as a team. They always seem to have my outcome as the #1 priority.The environment is very friendly there. It has a very open and conversational environment, and it never fails to make people feel comfortable!I especially like Sue. She does great work.They have worked together very flexibly in order to try to accommodate my services with their schedules.Overall, I would definitely recommend Stephanotis Hair for your next hair session!

Went for my first haircut today with George and it was a great experience. I have long, inconsistently wavy, thick hair and he handled it expertly. He is very meticulous and takes his time. My haircuts always take stylists longer than they expect but he didn't act rushed in the end. He explained to me his reasons for the approach he used. The cut was great and I adore the way he styled it after too. It looks fantastic and I'm thrilled. Also the salon only has 4 stylists so there is space between every seat so I felt very safe. Everyone was wearing their masks properly and everything was sanitized before and after use. I will be going back.

I have been going to Stephanotis Hair since they move to the Bank street location. What initially attracted me to visit the hair salon was how beautiful and clean it looked. Once you enter, you get greeted by friendly smiles and staff that are more than happy to help you. Friendly staff, knowledgeable professionals, environmentally focused and vegan and cruelty products kept me coming. Stephanie is an amazing stylist and is not afraid to tell you the gist of it! If a style is not suited for you, she will be honest with you. In the end she will leave the decision up to you but will tell you all the ins and outs. I absolutely love going to Stephanotis Hair to get my hair done, the complimentary scalp massage is an added bonus. If you are looking for a new hair dresser, this is the place to visit, you won’t regret it!

Stephanie has been cutting, styling and treating my hair for more than a decade. My hair is always in great shape and I get lots of complements on it.Her team is amazing as well. Sue, Erin and Suzanne have all cut or styled my hair when Stephanie has not been available. My daughter and now my granddaughter are loyal Stephanotis customers too.The salon is lovely. Staff are friendly and professional. Products are top quality. They sell an environmental line as well.I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Stephanotis Hair is a local business that clearly appreciates its customers and does a wonderful job of making you feel welcome, listened to, and pampered all at once. It was my first visit to the salon and, from the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome, and a cup of tea while I waited. The salon is normally fully booked so I was fortunate to get a space on the waiting list.Stephanie was my stylist and she was absolutely terrific! I was impressed by how she asked me questions to better understand my 'low maintenance' hair habits, and she took the time to listen to my preferences which was great. She clearly understood what I was looking for and had great suggestions too. I felt at ease and and had total confidence in Stephanie.The colour Stephanie suggested was exactly what I was looking for- it was just the right amount of 'lift' while still feeling very natural. And the cut was just right too!Another aspect I really appreciated was the overall atmosphere at the salon- the space is beautifully appointed, while still feeling relaxed. The music is a perfect chill blend and everyone on the team is friendly and authentic. It's no wonder they're fully booked. :) It's a 5 Star experience all the way! Highly recommend.

I have been going to Stephanotis for a bit over a year. My hair used to be very damaged from years of getting blond highlights at a different salon. From my first appointment onward, Erin has been a miracle worker in making sure my hair is healthy, soft, and long. She is friendly, warm, and always makes great recommendations. I trust her completely with my hair. In fact, I have recommended her to many of my friends who have found her fantastic.

Located in the heart of the Glebe, Stephanotis is an amazing hair salon. I have been a regular client for about two years. The service is always friendly, prompt, and professional. The salon is clean and welcoming. Clients are offered coffee, tea, or water (they even have fruit infused water).The owner (Stephanie) is always on site, which I believe really contributes to the client-service excellence at Stephanotis. It is clear that she cares about her team and her clients, and the 'vibe' of the place is laid-back, yet upscale. Stephanie does and excellent job with my color, cut and style. I occasionally see Erin as well, who is also nice and exceptionally talented. I was referred to Stephanotis by a friend with beautiful hair. I am very impressed!

Stephanotis Hair is hands down one of the best salons in Ottawa. I have been a client of Stephanie's for going on 16 years and I trust her to always give me her honest opinion and make me look and feel beautiful when I leave her salon. The entire staff at Stephanotis is amazing! They are professional, friendly and incredible stylists. They make you feel welcomed and like family. My 17 year old daughter is now also a client and she has the most beautiful balayage. The salon itself is immaculate and offers a relaxing atmosphere. Stephanie takes great pride in her business and it shows. My daughter and I recently got our hair done and even during COVID-19 I knew we had nothing to worry about. I absolutely love Stephanotis Hair! I had been going to them since 2017 and have always had great service. Sue and Suzanne have worked miracles with my stubborn, dark, curly hair. The whole team is friendly, professional, safe and accommodating. They give you exactly what you want for a very reasonable price whilst making sure your hair stays healthy. My mom also had a fabulous experience with George. I will definitely be making trips to Ottawa for the Stephanotis experience!
