I like shopping there, especially the $1 items. Hard times make you look for bargains. Staff is always sweet. Lots of parking and accessible spaces.

Copy paste of most Walmarts, so overall pretty mild experience.

I grocery shopped at the Carleton Place, Ontario store on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 in the evening. The milk section was almost empty except for specialty items (lactose free or organic). The pasta section only had one kind of gluten-free pasta Catelli elbow. There were other sections missing items too. There were workers so I’m not sure what the issue was? I picked up milk the next day ironically at the Walmart located in Bayshore so I know Walmart has a supply of milk! Not sure what’s going on but really annoyed with my local store.

Only 1 cash (with a cashier) was open. Otherwise you needed to use the self-checkout. There were approx. 5 people waiting for the cashier (all with full carts), so unless we were prepared to wait for 15 - 20 minutes, you needed to go to the self-check-out - despite us having a full cart ourselves. The scanning device at the self-checkout kept malfunctioning (it would either miss what you just scanned or it would register double of what you scanned), so we needed to wait for a staff member to come over to clear the latest scan. Very frustrating but they need to have more cashiers working. This was around 5 pm so there was absolutely no excuse to have only 1 cashier working. Terrible customer service!!

I go to this store a lot and I love it. It's clean and staff are usually really nice. I've also used their pick up service a few times and I'm always impressed with the delivery guys, always so friendly! On Saturday I was shopping with my son and decided to go inside. As Im shopping produce, I saw an older lady packing an order in the green bins.I wanted to compliment her on how my veggies and fruits are always fresh when I get my pick up order so I said hello and asked her if employees shop by department for orders or is it per order. She rudely said she doesn't understand what I'm saying so I rephrased it and said, when you shop for someone do you complete the whole order or just the produce section of the order. She rudely said again she doesn't understand me.Now I have a French accent and it felt like she was targeting that so I said nevermind it's all good and walked away but honestly it robbed me of my joy. All I wanted was to tell her she was doing a good job and her bins was all green so if they do shop per department I was going to tell her she was really good but instead I walked away feeling hurt because she was so rude I was baffled.I hope this lady reads that and understand that it's not my fault I was born french and I made an effort to learn your language, why are you so rude about it. It's?

What a horrible place to shop, my wife and I took our two young daughters in to buy cameras for our backyard. The cameras we're going to purchase are located in the electronics department locked up.The gentleman that opened the locked showcase and sold us the cameras was very pleasant. He took us to the cash at the photo center where we paid for the cameras. Apparently it's protocol to have certain items paid for BEFORE leaving the electronics department. On our way to the front door just as we were passing the bakery section on our right hand side we were being eyeballed by an older lady standing in the middle of the entrance and exit thruway. She immediately demanded to see our receipt. I'm not sure what it was about my family that implied we were thieves and liars but she made her decision to stop us. While others passed by us going out the doors it was quite uncomfortable for us to be held up this way. Rather embarrassing. I asked the lady why she had stopped us and accused us of stealing and then lying, she asked for the receipt several times and avoided my questions. So I told her that I was not going to provide the receipt and advised her to call the police if she thought we were thieves. In my opinion the greeters should do their own job, greet people. Leave store security up to store security, let them do their own jobs. If you suspect something call security don't center people out without good reason. This is probably the worst Walmart I've ever been to. People wake up, the people who do stop are the reason they still operate this way. You do not have to stop and allow them to harass you. Tell them thanks but no thanks and keep walking.

We have done grocery order pickup a few times there and it has always been a bad experience. they gave us all a bunch of wrong items as well as items we squished and crushed. on our most recent trip they forgot to give us 8+ items. We arrived at the designated time, parked and marked that we were there, someone came out and asked what our order number was, because it wasn’t ready. they didn’t have anything ready. so we sat there for 45 minutes while they ran around because they forgot about us.

Nice staff but horrible produce. I've shopped here maybe 50x, purely because price is better than Independent. But produce is a total crapshoot. They proudly display mouldy, bruised, disgusting-looking fruits and veggies.Another gripe is the infant seat shopping carts are always barricaded by the accessibility cart. They could just put the accessibility one in front of extra regular carts and the infant ones in the other side but instead they hide them. Makes it very difficult to get a cart while holding an infant and trying to move several awkward carts. The only saving grace for the store is their staff are (mostly) friendly. The gent who is often greeter is so pleasant every visit.

I have been buying cell phones since they existed...I had an old Samsung s7 and upgraded to Samsung A53. The whole process took about 30minutes, including mirroring everything from my old phone...great deal and the best service from Clayton at the mobility department. Highly recommended!!
