It was at 2012 that this statue was installed facing McGill University, with a student struggling with a laptop to have his lesson. Looking back, that was the year after Steve Jobs passed away and the tablets was coming into the market. The laptop could be out of date in 2022, but the statue definitely marked the change of era in student life. Visitor to this statue should spend time to examine the interesting details.
