I can relax and breathe at MYP, and am even gently reminded to do so if I forget. The studio is cozy and has a great little area outside the practice room where I can meet and chat with other yogis, and the facilities are cleaned several times a day by a tight-knit crew of volunteers who seem to have fun one-upping one another's work. The instructors are well trained, and while the pose series is franchise regulated, the unique personalities and perspectives of the staff make each identical" class feel unique."

The studio has many classes offered at a variety of different times which is nice. However, the studio itself seemed a bit pretentious to me. The cost of membership is astronomically high (on average $99 per month plus tax, making it approx. $113 per month). As a result, the core group of members seemed to be upper middle class white folk who can afford the pricey membership fee. I also didn't like that they sell products at the front. I heard one of the yoga teachers and desk staff members gossiping about another teacher, which I found offensive, in poor taste, and not in the spirit of a yoga life-style. This was quite a turn off to me actually. It felt like a bit of an artificial atmosphere. What's more, some of the instructors come off as a bit burnt out and impassioned - perhaps the result of teaching too many classes in a day/week? And although the studio is kept clean, a friend of a friend told me that they don't wash the studio floor properly. All in all, the studio is probably okay if you just want to pop in and try hot yoga for your first time, but for a consistent practice I wouldn't recommend this studio.

I absolutely love this place. Tried many more but didn't feel as relaxed in my surroundings as do here. Love that there are classes at all times of the day, fit around my shift patterns. All the staff are lovely and very supportive to any injury or difficulty that you may have with certain poses, will give you alternative. The atmosphere is very relaxed but love the fact that on entering the actual studio that we are quiet and getting ready, no chatting! A lot of other places do not practice this.

Moksha Peterborough is a great yoga studio for many reasons. A variety of classes, and times available throughout the day, allows for flexible workout choices. Moksha Yoga Peterborough is a fantastic place to practice yoga in Peterborough. Whether you are advanced or a novice to the yoga mat, instructors are there to guide you and help modify your poses through your practice.
