Said goodbye to my 10 year old bunny Kio as his quality of life was decreased. I love that there is a separate entrance/exit to the comfort room. Staff are patient and compassionate. Also received a lovely card signed by everyone ❤️

We had to bring our cat Pearl in because she had a bump and an irritated eye. We found the clinic very clean and calm and quiet. The staff from the receptionists to the student vet to the working vet to the pharmacist all provided exemplary care . All questions were answered and her care and treatment and problem all explained to us in detail. Also different payment options were given to us.

On the surface, this place is state of the art and some of the vets in there are extremely knowledgeable. However, at this point I would consider them to be predatory in their billing and pushing of anything they can possibly sell you. After about 10 minutes into my visits there, it became quite clear to me that they're much more interested in making money, even if that means putting your pet through something totally unnecessary. Really sad to see such behaviour - especially from people who chose to *help* animals as their career.

VCA District Animal Hospital is an excellent clinic. I have been there with 3 of my animals for urgent care appointments and follow-up exams. I have received excellent care from the veterinarians, vet techs and assistants each time. For my most recent visits, I received excellent veterinary care from Dr. Paige Guindon, who treated my dog with diabetes and pancreatitis. She is very knowledgeable, kind and caring. I trust her advice, and I highly recommend her. You can tell she just wants the best for your animal companion.I also love the recent addition of the Mollies Pet Market attached to the clinic. I was able to relax with my dog while we waited for test results. The staff was friendly, my dog got to have a treat, and my dog and I took a photo in the photo booth in the store. It made the trip to the vet less stressful. It was a great experience.

I would give 10 stars if I could… I came here after my 8 month boxer cross was presumably stung by a bee and had an allergic reaction. I am absolutely blown away by this place (in a good way!!!). It is gorgeous inside, very calming, spacious, and everyone there is super helpful, friendly and inviting. Dr. Hiebert was friendly, knowledgeable and clear with his communication. Things could not have gone smoother! On top of all that, it is connected with a pet store, Mollie’s, which has a cafe/coffee shop inside with tables that include dog beds at each one! What a great concept. This place is definitely my new regular veterinarian. Thank you!!!Edit: Dr. Hiebert even followed up with me through text message the following day when symptoms started showing up again. He had a prescription done up and ready for me pick up. Amazing.

This was my first time visiting this location. My dog, Luna has been pooping inside the house and has had diarrhoea for over 24 hours. I brought her in for an examination and was met with Andrew and Nadia at the front who were very friendly and welcoming to both myself and Luna. Dr. Graham was the vet who worked with us and she was absolutely amazing with Luna and super accommodating to all of my questions and concerns. Luna is not up to date on her vaccines nor is she spayed and there was no judgement at all. She is one of the best vets I’ve ever visited because of how friendly and gentle she was. I highly recommend this location to anyone who is need of urgent care or just for regular check ups. Thank you Dr. Graham!

We recently moved to Harvest Hills and this was our first experience with this VCA animal urgent care.We noticed our bunny is was in a lot of pain today and knew it was his time - almost 10 years old - we called this vet clinic as we were driving there because they handle exotic animals. From the moment we walked in, the ladies at the front desk knew we were here for our bunny. They were so compassionate, kind, caring and made us feel at home. We’ve gone through a lot of pet loses throughout our lives and this truly was the best experience we have ever been through.They gave us all the time we needed to say our goodbyes and were so compassionate. After saying our goodbyes to our baby boy, they said we were able to exit the building from the room we said goodbye in so we didn’t have to see anyone else - this meant so much to us as we didn’t want to see anyone in our current state.They told us we would have an urn, some hair in a jar with a ribbon and his ink paw print all complimentary. As hard as goodbyes are… the staff truly made it a bit easier to say goodbye knowing he was in the best care and going to a better place. The vet also told us that he was in a warm towel and the steps she was going to take and if we had any questions. Thank you so much VCA staff for the incredible love and compassion you shared with us today in saying goodbye to our boy.

I am blown away by this vet in the best way. Had to rush my pug MarleyMoo in for urgent care - staff were all kind, helpful, and professional. They treated my puggo so well and after they drew blood they brought her out to the attached café/pet boutique to me where I was waiting for her in total comfort (and style, wow this place is cool!) I was very worried about her so being able to relax with her in a calming and fun environment was so beneficial to both of us in this experience. 10/10, we will be back for everything in the future.

Brought my 10y/o Cane Corso Mix in when her sutures let go after an aggressive mast tumor resection on her shoulder. The staff were outstanding in all ways, they kept us comfy and updated us with our babies progress, sturdy bandages were constructed for the awkward area (they even put adorable hearts, flowers, and butterflies on them), and quickly came up with a plan of action. So grateful for the friendly staff from the front desk to the surgeons.. I see you guys workin your butts off and it is appreciated greatly! Your remarkable commitment to quality pet & owner care has helped me through the hardest time of my life and for that i cannot thank you enough.
