We hired Elmid Design for the structural design for a new addition to our house. Hamid and his team, did the full measurement of the house and a few recommendations for the new house plans.We received the building permit less than a month which was shorter than our expectations.During the construction the contractors liked the quality of the engineering drawings and our framer did 2 more projects with Hamid after this job.I recommend Hamid to all my friends for the permit drawings

I worked with Elmid Design Inc on the home addition project. The start of this project was fast and timely. All documents presented as required and Building permit received with no issues. During construction period, I had some issues with the beam and brick support. I have contacted Elmid Design team, and they helped to revise the drawings and offered a suitable replacement option. Communication over the phone or email was easy with fast turnaround time. Overall, working with Elmid Design team was a good experience.

Elmid Design Inc. were hired to design a custom house, and provide us with Design, structural, and mechanical designs, we were looking for a firm that can do all disciplines and can design modern design style.We like that they let is participate in the design process, and like that each stage we are presented the drawings, and are required to confirm the design before moving to the following stage.My partner and I are happy with the outcome and hope that Elmid Design Inc maintain this level of commitment.

I was referred to Hamid by a friend who had used his services before. Hamid was on time, professional, and he was quick to give us our drawings. Since receiving them, I've had several follow up questions, and he had responded to each one quickly and with good advice. He's also been available for discussion with our contractor, so I've felt comfortable that all the right information is being shared. Hamid also helped us with getting a permit from the township of Aurora.I would definitely recommend their services to anyone needing structural engineering!
