I gave 5 star review to this place, but after going to this library everyday i found out some cons:1. from morning to 4:00pm everything is good, grown ups are here and reading area is pretty zero noise!2. after 4:00pm students are coming and they think here’s their school, so it’s really common you see two teenagers are yelling, laughing loudly and do lots of other distracting stuff!3. The worst part are kids! Mom and dads don’t really care here’s supposed to be a reading area and let their children talk loudly, yell and play like it’s a playground!!!!!4. Seems There’s no provision regulated in this library, so the staff are talking loudly in 3rd floor to each other and on the phone!!!5. If you wanna find the security to give a notice to noisy person, this is the hardest part, cause you can never find the security easily!!!I know this is a public library so the public should have enjoyments in here, but the fundamental use of this library is in jeopardy!!!There should be some regulation for noise reduction, children’s access to silent reading area!!!

This is an amazing library! The selections of books are pretty great, the library location is spacious and has many study areas. The staff were really helpful too with checking out books and providing program information. The only thing is that if it’s really sunny on the south side on the third floor it gets really hot so make sure you bring a water bottle! :)

The Central Branch boasts an impressive collection of books, spanning a wide range of genres and subjects. Whether you're seeking the latest bestsellers, classic literature, or niche non-fiction, you're bound to find something that piques your interest. The librarians are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, always ready to offer recommendations or assist with any inquiries. The library's location in the heart of Richmond Hill makes it easily accessible for visitors from all parts of the city. The building itself is modern, well-maintained, and designed to be accessible to individuals with disabilities.

This is great to come and find a place to study and read a good book. It is a newer library and it fairly big, four floors in total. First two floors is the main library space with lots of place where are you can sit at a desk and work. They also have computers that you can use as well. Last two floors are mostly use for staff and I believe you can rent out some of the rooms for meetings.

A quiet and well maintained public library which offers amenities like free wifi. I would have liked it more if it had a better equipped cafe, also some cubicles and more private areas would have been a good supplement to the general area. All in all, Recommend!

The main purpose of my 5 star review is because of its chess class for children. The teacher is amazing and one of a kind. She is giving incentives to children to learn. My son loves his chess class on Thursdays. I appreciate her and wish the best for her.

This is my favourite place to study. Their second floor is so spacious and so many different spots to study. Lots of outlets for computers. I like the quiet study area, especially if I can snag one of the private tables right by the windows. I love how the study area is filled with windows and makes studying a little more tolerable. Generally people are pretty respectful about the quiet study space. Phone calls can be taken a few steps away. Lots of easily accessible washrooms, always clean. Perfect study spot.

This is one of the best Library that I have visited. A very spacious, user friendly , clean and classy library. A good location at the Downtown Richmond Hill area. There is a nice garden around the Library and also a beautiful place to pay tribute to the RH Mayor . Nice seating area inside and outside the building. Lots of parking spaces and also has underground parking . A highly recommended place to enjoy yourself.

This beautiful library is my favorite place in Richmond Hill. It's located close to downtown Richmond Hill with many stores and restaurants around. The library has a coffee shop in it and a large children section with a lot of books. Also, they have a pretty big archive of other languages books and you can almost find books in any language you speak! Before pandemics they ran lots of community programs and seminars here, and I hope that these programs come back soon to there.
