Stroke Recovery Association of Manitoba
The stroke recovery association is the oldest in Canada. It is a place where individuals who have had a stroke feel welcome and make friends with others just like them. There are support groups which really help an individual learn to cope with life after a stroke. There are other group activities during the week. I strongly recommend to any one with a stroke to call and find out where there is a support group to join. Another thing to join is games day on Thursday. Great for friendship and fun. So call them today. Remember ,all are welcome and you are not alone.
