Nootka Rose Milling
They carry a small selection of locally sourced pantry items, veggies, meats, cheeses, pastries, and frozen meats - local lamb and chicken mostly. I saw recently they added ice cream sandwiches to their freezer! Yum. Pastry and bread sell out quickly. Flour is amazing for making bread.

Don't shop here. I went to Nootka Rose Milling to pickup some Little Creek salad dressing along with some other items. I didn't notice that the dressing I had bought was expired by a few months until I got home. I live a ferry ride away. It's not ideal for me to pay the cost of the ferry for them to replace the dressing. I had sent an email explaining. It has now been a week and they don't seem to care enough to reply to customers. I will be contacting Little Creek Dressing and let them know about this terrible customer service I received trying to purchase their product.

They sell their own flours, milled on site and delicious Wildfire Bakery bread. Get there at opening time, they sell out quickly.

I replace their unbleached wheat flour for my grocery store flour in my tried, tested and true pizza dough. I seriously can't even believe the difference. Unbelievable!!!I have discovered the trick to a top notch crust - using Nootka Rose flour.

Beautiful quality flour. Very different experience to using old flour bought at a grocery chain. Makes my homemade artisan sourdough loaves all the more delicious and nutritious. Well priced and affordable for us on lower than average income. Excellent customer service!!!

Huge fan of Nootka Rose Milling! This very cute little shop has a little of everything, from local frozen meats to fresh baked goods. I love seeing small local businesses work together so the ability to pick up Four Quarters charcuterie, frozen dinners from Wild Mountain, ice cream sandwiches by Sea Chest and Fantastico coffee under one roof is awesome.The staff are extremely helpful and will gladly get you the exact size of flour you're looking for if it isn't available on the shelves. They make buying local easy and enjoyable. I highly recommend a visit.

I dropped by on their first day in business so, to be fair, there wasn't a lot of choice. But I was impressed that they grind their own flour right on site.
