So knowledgeable, friendly and caring. They took/ are taking such amazing care of our baby girl who broke her leg after being hit by a car. They gave her the cutest decorated bandage when they needed to rewrap her leg.

I have always had amazing experiences with the Petawawa Animal Hospital Staff. Specifically Amy, Caroline, and Dr. Brittney have been awesome with my pets, even though the dogs can be a handful. I’ve always dreaded vet appointments until I came here.When my family dog passed they were so compassionate and supportive. I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else after that alone.Many thanks to the rest of the staff who have always been great throughout my years as a client.

Our family is so thankful and grateful to Petawawa Animal Hospital for the phenomenal care for our cat over the last 3-4 years.Our cat came to them old, on a few medications, and incredibly fussy and grumpy to handle. They could have easily told us no, your cat is too complicated for us to deal with, and instead he was accepted despite all the challenges he would prove himself to be as time went on.We have had incredible service, kindness, patience, and love every time our cat had to come in for various check-ups and procedures.Today we said goodbye to Spooky, our cat of 18 years old, and it was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do in my life and I know my heart will never be the same again. Despite the pain and grief I feel now, my family and I are so blessed to have had the staff here along for the journey of his golden years and his subsequent passing.I can’t thank you all enough for your care and cannot express enough the deep gratitude we will always have for your veterinary services.The Schweyer Family

I don't even know where to begin.I had been a client with this hospital. I had not gone back for a year and a half.I had called them about my dog having breathing issues and was not doing too well. They said they couldn't pencil me in and I was to go to the animal hospital in Ottawa. I did exactly that.When I went to call back today, I had explained the situation and wanted to schedule an appointment because at the vet in Ottawa, they told me that my dog had a mass growing and it would need to be investigated and removed.I was told by the receptionist that there was nothing that they could do as I was now classified as an inactive client.What is this? I was not told that when I phoned the first time for the initial emergency and am now told I am no longer a client and there is nothing they can do for me.This is absolutely heartbreaking and also disgusting behavior. Is this how all rural veterinary hospitals operate?

Absolutely the worst customer service I've dealt with. Customers since 2000 with periodic breaks for postings. I called to try and get a physical done for our dog who had bit my son before we either had him re-homed or euthanized and I was told because I hadn't had him in since 2020 we weren't clients anymore and there was nothing they could do. I've spent thousands here in past years with past pets and this is the loyalty they show. Wouldn't even allow for a 5 minute physical.

100/10? 1000/10? 10000/10?None of those are ratings are enough though.This month has been absolute chaos with my dog who went into stage 3 heart failure. They really have gone above and beyond for me and my baby boy. I cannot thank the kind ladies here enough for what they have done for our family. a simple review isnt nearly enough of a thank you to show my appreciation. I only wish they were accepting new patients so i could spread the love but obviously that means the people around here know how amazing they are and refuse to go elsewhere or accept anything less. Thank you 100X again for what you do every single day.- a forever patient.

Aweful sub par services. Vet is very unprofessional, rude, doesn't listen to the needs of client, walls are thin and you can hear how they talk about clients, very minimal understanding of proper diagnostic and treatments. Would not recommend this vet to anybody.

The staff and Doctor provide excellent care to our puppy. They are always happy to pick up the phone when I call with all my worries, and offer good advice. I’m grateful to have them as our vet.

We were clients with them for our other dog but because we got a new pup they told us they aren't accepting new clients? Makes zero sense to me. Terrible clinic. Even when we were clients the receptionists gave such attitude so I guess it's a good thing we no longer will be going there.
