Terrible client care received from this company. Tried to call them about a rejected claim on a travel insurance to receive an explanation. I was on hold for more than three hours with them just to hear the agent tell me they don't know about the underlying reason of this rejected claim either. They even have the audacity to reject a physician’s note and diagnosis. I still haven't heard from anyone after 3 months. It's a shame how CIBC engages in business with this company. Do yourself a favour and do not purchase anything from them.

I think serious criminal actions should be taken against this Group of companies. Not one branch of service is good. Not blaming the people working there but the Company itself and its decision makers. They should be charged with fraud. This could not be a bigger SCAM! The biggest give-away is the lack of response by email (always automated emails) and the forever waiting time on phone. This is NOT normal way of doing business.

INCREDIBLE BAD SERVICE. The website to submit a claim is so cheap and basic (for today's technology) and doesn't work, it is not possible to submit a claim. Then, trying to get an agent over the phone is also not possible. I have days trying to get support and only being able to reach one person after hours waiting on the phone, just to be re-directed to another area where again, nobody answers. Really a nightmare experience, and I am just trying to submit a medical claim, will see if I can even make it. I will escalate it up to company policy cancellation if needed. I have never experienced this kind of nightmare service with any other insurance company in Ontario.

Scam business. It has been over 2 years now and still waiting for payment. I've submitted every document possible. Phone calls keep dropping and emails go unread. I have experienced more trauma from dealing with this company then when I was transported in an ambulance for which I am trying to get my money back for. Looking back I would have rather walked to the hospital than getting on that ambulance had I known I would enter a 2+ year battle with a criminal company.Please avoid at all costs.

If I could, I would give 0 star rating. The worst company I ever had to deal with especial for a medical claim. Had to wait in line for 3 hours multiple times and kept on being transferred and got hung up on my face. Filed a complaint as well. No customer service. Do not ever deal with them, do yourself a favour and change your insurance. Still waiting for my claim to be ‘processed’ after 2 months.

This company is a scam I bought insurance from them which was sent from their company email, with a link to their upload portal, but when I filed a claim they denied it saying I had the wrong company for the claim???? The hold is always over and hour and a half every time. They unfortunately work with alot of the banks, I got my travel insurance through CIBC, so I thought it would be legit, but it is not. BEWARE and stay FAR away from this company.

I have to go with the rest of the group here. Worst company to deal with. I am writing as I've been on hold for 1 hour and 20 minutes now.I received a letter saying my claim was denied because there was documents missing to complete my request and to refer to the email they sent me. Email that I've never received. After multiple attempt to reach them and hours waiting on the phone, nobody could gave me an answer but I've been told that someone would contact me to help me completing my request. Again, never heard from them and they casually closed my file without further explanation nor follow-up. To me this company looks more like a scam than a serious business.Now watch, I'll get the same automatic answer as everybody else: Thank you for your comment. We are an industrial insurance company. ...""

BUYER BE AWRE, Purchased tickets to a concert in Sept 2022 and got insurance through Allianz. Concert was cancelled a couple of months later and I received refund on the tickets in March 22. Called today to get a refund on my ticket insurance and was told I only have 10 days after ticket purchase to cancel insurance. This is contrary to their own policy of a few months prior where I did get a refund for another cancelled concert. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE CALL CENTRE AND LATER A SUPERVISOR THAT CALLED BACK AND DID NOT EVEN LEAVE A MESSAGE. LAST THIME I'M BUYING INSURANCE FROM THESE PEOPLE.

I was looking for clarification of coverage on *existing policy* included as a benefit with my Master Card.Horrible customer service. They make you feel you need their business a lot more than the other way around.Three out of four representatives I spoke with over the phone lacked basic skills, big part of which is poor English that made me repeat same things 2-3 times until they could understand what I was asking about. And the tone they use is as though you owe them big time...Heavens forbid if some day I'll have to make a claim. Perhaps a smarter move is to walk away to another company even at an extra cost.

My worst experience with an insurance company involved booking a travel insurance policy from Allianz, for a trip to Canada. When I had a medical emergency and had to visit a hospital, they requested that I pay $7,000 upfront and submit the bill to my insurer, Allianz, for reimbursement. However, it's been three months since the incident and I still haven't heard back from them. Additionally, the customer service representative I eventually spoke with was very aggressive.
