That's Empressive

Being in this establishment felt like home. The smell of soup on the oven, the beautiful art on the walls and the incredible hospitality not to mention their great soft serve ice cream. If you get the chance I would highly recommend a visit

The owner is Pat, she is very knowledgable about the town and very helpful. As she said, 'a whisker away from being 80 years old'. She runs a much needed service for the town. You wouldn't know it from the stores appearance, but it offers a lot of services...just ask her. From fuel needs to food! Ice cream too!

Loved it!!!! The owners are eccentric and funny to watch all the while being very hospitable and generous with the kids. The selection is quite unique as well, a great stop for a gift on the way home and not more than 15km of the 41 a great 10min detour for sure.

This place is run by a friendly elderly couple, the lady likes to tell interesting stories, which i enjoyed. They offer a delicious Western Breakfast Sandwich" made by Ross for breakfast that i really found tasty. I stopped by for dinner a couple times after work

Great little eclectic place. Self serve gas and diesel. Be ready for some conversation, possibly blunt lol. All good.Relax, grab a snack and drink, and enjoy your day

First experience with That’s Empressive today and unfortunately less than Empressed. Called this morning to enquire if this location sells gasoline , lady that answered was extremely snippy and said “yes”. I asked if it was card lock, and got a snippy no and got hurried off the phone like my enquires didn’t matter to the point where she hung up on me and I had to call back to ask if their point of sales machine took tap.I am out of town, my fiancé was looking for a place to get fuel tonight returning to his temporary residence and he didn’t have enough fuel to back it back from Empress.I was very disgusted with the lady’s attitude on the phone but held out hope that my fiancés experience tonight would be better. Unfortunately it wasn’t. He went in tonight to get fuel and the lady that was serving him was extremely rude and went as far as to throw his receipt at him.Very disappointed as this is the only gas station between his work and temporary residence. Will be having to find another place even if it’s out of the way. Maybe Burstall? Won’t be back to That’s Enpressive.

Great food, neat atmosphere and charming staff. Its a bit off the beaten path but the business owner Pat" sells all kinds of knickknacks and will have atleast one thing for everybody.Also serves a great egg and bacon breakfast for an extremely reasonable price! Stories for days

So thankful we have this store. It has the basic necessities, chips, chocolate, pop, gas/diesel station, a tea house and an art gallery because Empress has Artisans! Pat aka Nokomis is a wonderful lady and has a great story every time you come in.

A little town Gift Shop full of great stuff. And the tea shop was fun too. We met locals and bought a few treasures. Over tea on the sidewalk patio.

Fantastic owner who knows his history of the area. Cute shop and restaurant with lots of interesting finds". Highly recommended everyone to check this place out."
