3.5 Great location. Quality apparel. Reasonable and roved. Knowledge staff. One of our main go to places for running apparel and shoes. Unfortunately last weekend the lady on the till was pretty rude. Probably and off day as they are usually nice and super helpful. Was a little disappointed with that tho.Need some PE running gear for my 2 boys with CF now and my marathoner wife. Want to sponsor some local hero’s ? Please like my review if it was helpful.

They have a nice selection - not all color options, but a decent selection of excellent shoes. You can get training shoes, racers, trail shoes, walking shoes - so there is something for everyone.Also they have a digital foot analyzer to help ensure you get the right shoe. This was fast and easy - hike up your pants maybe 6 inches or 15 cm and you stand on a small platform and the magic is performed in seconds. This is great!Staff are friendly and helpful and I enjoyed the experience!

Nathan is a gem. As a nurse, with arthritis in one foot, I need good shoes. The health care worker discount is brilliant. I've been buying shoes here for many years and will continue to do so.

I called the Victoria New Balance store to check on availability of an item for a gift. I got the gift" of a VERY helpful and patient young woman named Liz (Elizabeth). She went out of her way to provide options and great advise. I couldn't have been more satisfied."

I've been looking for the New Balance 442 Team Pro 2e soccer cleats and couldn't find them in any soccer stores, but when I checked with New Balance Victoria, one of their sales representatives Kieran ordered pairs in both size 9 and 9.5 to bring into their store so that I could try them both out and see which size would fit me best, with no obligation to buy. I really appreciate this effort and superb customer service.Edit*: I went to try on the cleats and found out that they were too small even at 9.5. Eli was very helpful and ordered in the size 10s, and after returning to try them on I was happy to complete the purchase. A great shopping experience!

Yesterday I came to your store, and when I came in there were no customers inside. I went to the cash register and asked for help because I knew what model of sneakers I was looking for. The girl consultant's expression was unfriendly. She brought me the wrong color of the two models of sneakers I asked for. She looked down on me and didn't try to help me, as if she was waiting for me to leave. I put the shoes in the boxes I had measured and wished her a good day and thanked her. I heard nothing in return. I'd rather go to Vancouver to buy new sneakers, even though I could have bought them from you.++ I want to add to my review. I was contacted by the store employee Artem. He offered to help and apologized for the situation, even though he had nothing to do with it. I came back to the store and he kindly helped me with the choice of shoes. I was satisfied and went home with my new sneakers. Conclusion - if I come to your store, it will be only to Artem for normal service, thank you!

I bought 3 pairs of shoes from New Balance. Wasn’t my intention when I walked in. But my foot issues were superbly addressed by their quality 3D foot scan, products, and the outstanding service from Becca.

I decided to bite the bullet on the 574 shoes I've been eyeing for weeks. I was excited to be able to go into New Balance in person and be able to walk out with my shiny new shoes.When I walked in, no one acknowledged that I had walked in. There was an employee right by the door helping a customer, and then an employee at the desk. There seemed to be 2 other employees doing some general maintenance, but not on the floor. I picked the colour I wanted pretty quickly and walked over to the employee standing near the other customer as it appeared he was the only one working the floor. I waited. And waited. He was standing watching the other customer try on shoe after shoe, and wasn't leaving her side. After a good several minutes he walked over to me, didn't say anything, I asked for my size and sat down. When he came out, he said he only had a size down, didn't offer to pull any other colours or styles, and walked back to the other customer.I wanted to try on another colour in a size up so I went to look for the sales associate but he was behind the counter with another sales person. At this point I was the only customer in the store and I felt I was being blatantly ignored. I stood by the shoes, I wandered around, I tried to make eye contact, I approached 2 sales associates who seemingly looked right through me or would turn the other way as I approached. Finally after another several minutes another customer came in, and was helped immediately. They checked his size, pulled multiple styles and colours for him. I was standing right beside the other customer, trying to verbally engage with the sales associate, when they helped him instead of me. They didn't say a word to me. I ended up leaving, with no one saying anything.I felt completely invisible, and embarrassed. I don't want to make bold claims or assumptions, but I think I received poor service due to my body shape and size. The customers who were helped promptly and were given a lot of attention were athletically built. As we left, my husband joked we could have stolen those shoes and none of the staff would have even noticed. The fact I was there for 15 minutes, tried on 1 pair of shoes, and only had 6 words said to me by 1 staff member is pretty bad service, at best.I won't be coming back to this store, and I won't be supporting New Balance in the future.
