Stirling Marathon Appliances

Purchased a Marathon Fridge from Stubbe's in Tillsonburg on July 14/22.After less than 3 months the fridge stopped working.Unfortunately, it's going to take approximately 3 weeks for my Fridge to be repaired under warranty.Called Stubbe's on October 11/22, the technician came to look at the Fridge on October 14/22.He determined that a part had to be ordered.I received a call from Stubbe's on October 18/22 that the part was in, but the technician would not be able to install the part until October 27/22.Since moving from Hamilton to Tillsonburg a little over a year ago, I was very reluctant to buy this fridge, as I had never heard of the Marathon brand previously.In retrospect, I regret purchasing the marathon brand of Fridge and would be extremely hesitant in considering the purchase or recommending marathon Fridges in the future.

Bought a Marathon fridge from Costco almost exactly a year ago. Sometime in the last couple of months a flap for the French door was giving me an issue. I called them and left a message. I figured I should deal with Costco and while I was trying to explain the issue to Costco, Marathon called me back(which was less than 5 minutes later) and helped me out much better than I believe Costco even would have, which is really saying something! In the future my wife and I have already said to each other if there is a choice for a product from Marathon we would be purchasing it just based on this interaction. Also, as everyone loves as well, it’s great to buy and support Canadian when it’s as great as this!

Bought one of their chest freezers four years ago and I love it. Apart from the appliance itself (love all of noise level, energy consumption, form factor and that internal aluminum lining that makes it easier to clean while preventing rust), one reason I'd really recommend Stirling Marathon is their great customer service. I have e-mailed them twice, once with general question and a second time with a peculiar request about modifying the freezer (into a keezer")

I had a Marathon freezer that refused to work. It kept stopping and starting. I first suspected it was the capacitor, which is normally the case. I tried to look for the capacitor in local repair stores with no luck. I called Stirling Marathon Appliances to see if they have the part for sell. Kelsey was the attendant. She confirmed my freezer model and sent me a capacitor for free! What a nice experience.The story did not end. I replaced the new capacitor and the issue persisted. I turned to Stirling Marathon again, with detailed description of the symptoms. Kelsey suggested the issue was the relay, instead of the capacitor. And she sent me the relay. The new relay works perfectly! My freezer gets a new life!Thank you Kelsey and Stirling Marathon Appliances. You are the role model of the appliance industrial and customer services.

Purchased a wine fridge and I am so impressed with the quality.The shelves are the perfect height, layout is great and the racks slide so smoothly. Love it! Also purchased a 'retro' fridge for a beverage fridge for our basement and am so happy with it as well. Love the fact they are a Canadian business.

I purchased a Stirling Marathon beverage fridge 2018 from Faulkner's Appliances in Toronto, delivered to my home in Jan 2019 - Model MBWC24-2D. Within the first year, the beverage fridge started leaking at the back and damaged my hardwood floor. Faulkner's has since closed, so I reported the issue to the Stirling Marathon. They sent me, in the mail, a piece of foam to put on the leaky coil at the back of the appliance. I had to repair the floor and cabinet which had bulged from moisture at my own cost (see photos). I expressed my concern with the quality of the appliance to the vice president and president of the company but they insisted the foam insulation would do the trick. The bevarage fridge has now completely stopped cooling and the response is that it can't be fixed. I need to buy a new fridge. I'm not happy with this product and see other reviews with similar feedback.

I have received my Epic 7.1cuft chest freezer for 2 weeks now... Love it. perfect size. easy to get it started. so far everything all good. Came in perfect condition just as you would expect it.

I purchased a apt. size fridge from this company a few years ago, it stopped working. I phoned them, knowing my warranty was up, to see if they could help me. They immediately took care of my problem, sent me out replacement parts, at no charge! I have NEVER seen another company go out of their way to assist a customer like this company has! I will only buy their products in the future......and, bonus...it,s a CANADIAN COMPANY!

I purchased an Epic fridge in November 2021. Each time that I wipe the stainless steel exterior and the interior I proclaim these engineer/designers knew what they were doing". I have always professed that in order to know if a product is functional "they should" have to clean it before the design gets approval! The Epic exterior wipes down without streaking
