H&R Block

Spent 3 hours there, about 45min waiting on them being late, another 1h of problems in the system & about 45mins of being constantly disturbed by other dossiers that has nothing to do with me during my appointment.For roughly 30 minutes of active service.

Branda Sab was very kind to accept doing my taxes on the spot when I walked into the office last week to inquire on how to get an appointment!She was very patient and helped me understand all the details of the process since it was my first time filing taxes in Québec. She speaks good English which was a relief for me as I speak very little French.I highly recommend her !

Had to pay the high price of an independent contractor, when I am not one, to get a particular tax credit, and then I did not get the credit, so I paid hundreds of dollars more to H&R Block for absolutely nothing. My colleagues all received the tax credit and I did not. They refused to rectify the situation. I am never going back to H&R Block and advise others to do the same.

Do not go to this branch. You have been warned. They are the worst and most careless people i have ever seen. They cancel and delay appointments. Very very bad. I ended up taking my documents back and went somewhere else.

Smooth experience! I received excellent service from Laury B. This is the first time my tax return filing was done fast. The time frame for processing was short. Good work!

I was told I had an appointment to file my taxes. When I arrived, the receptionist would barely look up from her computer and told me I couldn't possibly have an appointment since they didn't do appointments, when I showed her the text feom H&R Bloc telling me to go to my appointment she mumbled something about only doing taxes on a drop-off basis without turning away from her computer.My experience at this location is that the staff are rude, the services are wrongly advertised, and they make no effort to even appear to care about their customers. How can I trust a company with my taxes who lie about their services on their website and have staff who treat their customers like annoyances instead clients? I'm going elsewhere and so should you.

They made an effort to call me after i had a bad experience with them. It shows that they trying to do better and serve their clients better. I will try them again next year and hopefuly it wont repeat again.

This is a last resort option, the price is extremely expensive, they didn't properly explain return process. Given wrong information, no card to receive return. I do not recommend

I had no problem for the last 2 years giving them all my documents on a USB key. The documents are in PDF. Suddenly this year 2023 they don't accept any documents on a USB

2019 did my taxes at H&R Block and was charged 150$ when they say 89$ at reception. Now they called me to bring in 2020 taxes to them. As a single person with no kids and a renter my taxes return is easy and quick. Stay away from this company they will charge extra to protect yourself from their errors in filing taxes.
