Hillside Landing B&B

Wonderful stay! The owners gave us some fantastic tips on local spots to visit in bear river as we were headed that way. They seem to have good knowledge of what is happening in the community. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic! Rooms were clean and the shower was amazing. Can’t fault a single thing! Highly recommend :)

We stayed at Hillside Landing for two nights and were very pleased with our accommodations.The bed is very comfortable, the view of the harbour was beautiful, and the room and bathroom were spotless.The hosts Linda and Henry were very friendly and accommodating to our needs. They are very welcoming making you feel very comfortable to enjoy their awesome Bed and Breakfast and the beautiful location.The breakfast is delicious, and the selection of teas which are available is excellent.We will definitely return to Hillside Landing to enjoy another visit to a beautiful part of Nova Scotia.Judy and David Wentzell

Hillside Landing is home away from home. The hosts truly opened their home to guests. I felt like I had Known Linda and Henry for a long time. They were extremely helpful with where to go and how to get there. Breakfast was excellent every single day. The rooms were decorated with an excellent taste. The view of the harbor from their balcony was unbelievable.

Beautiful home! Beautiful rooms. Original hardwood restored. Such a beautiful place. We were welcomed like part of the family. I was speaking to friends as soon as we entered the door. Amazing breakfast! Highly recommended!!!

Reasonably priced stay at an amazing location, well maintained house with lots of amenities, extremely friendly hosts (who are also talented chefs that can provide such an amazing breakfast - probably the best I’ve ever eaten!!). Hillside Landing is definitely a gem, and I will be recommending anyone going to Digby to try to find a room here!

Amazing stay at this lovely B and B. Henry and Linda made our visit very pleasant. The Vye room was lovely with an amazing view, comfy bed, great shower. The entire property was clean, welcoming and thoughtfully decorated. We received lots of great hints about places to eat and highlights of the lovely town and surrounding area. Breakfast was amazing and really set us up for the rest of the day. We will be back! Thanks!

The owners here are fantastic. From the moment we arrived until we left they were wonderful hosts. Our room was comfortable, quiet, clean and had a beautiful view of the town and harbour. Walking down to the restaurants and town was easy. Breakfast was very good and we got the opportunity to meet a very nice couple traveling here from Austria which we wouldn’t have had staying in a hotel.On a side note the Maude Lewis replica home was only a 5 minute drive away and was very well done and worth seeing if you like her art and life story.

The amazing hospitality of these hosts started before we even entered the home. We were greeted on the porch and our bags were carried up to our rooms. The freshly prepared breakfasts were top quality - and very abundant. The famous Scallop Eggs Benedict did not disappoint. None of us left hungry - ever!! Henry and Linda are very knowledgeable about the local area and provided great insight into local activities. We were fortunate to be able to stay for a few nights - and never bored of drinking readily available coffee and tea while sitting on the back porch overlooking the Digby harbour. If we are ever back in the area - we will definitely be back!
