Soap Opera Laundry Centre & Coffee Shop

Great service friendly staff but man did this place go downhill since new management!!! Lots of washers out of service dirty looking laundry area and only one staff at a time… grew up using soap opera and still as a adult but man think I need to find one closer to home cause this place is not what it used to be :(

It has gone down over the years, some broken machines it seems but the staff keeps it clean and are polite.

Worst laundry in Manitoba. 17 machine’s damaged. Not much machine left in working condition. I think owner has no interest in this business.

A very neat vibe here! A community hub that I really appreciated. First time here and a kind regular helped me with the washer and parted with a fist bump. I felt so welcomed in that moment. Would definitely come here for an ice cream or beverage just to be apart of the community again. Kind of like a local coffee shop! Lots of machines and wash loads are about 30 minutes.

This place is the biggest rip off I've ever seen! The way they take advantage of the poor is sickening! The only reason I'm giving more than 1 star is because the woman working there was very nice and helpful. It was $5 to use a tiny washer! Doing a small load of laundry, like your sheets (No Pillowcases) here will cost you around $9, it is double the price of a normal laundromat! They charge so much money that I am baffled they still have customers! They take advantage of the fact that the people in the neighbourhood don't have many options. I usually do my laundry at a much better, much higher end, much cleaner laundromat and only pay $2.50 for a better wash in a bigger washer, $4.75 per load! This is an excellent example of people ripping off their fellow humans because they can. Also, it smells like Vomit. I got a tetatus shot after being here just in case. Rip off.

It's a good place to wash clothes. Place is clean and has a sitting area to eat or have coffee. The machines do their job and usually no waiting. Am pleased to go there.

Best place to do laundry that's closest to me, only down side are the prices for the washing machines, but when you can't do laundry in your own place it's worth it! The dryers are 25 cents for 3 minutes but you can easily dry a large load in 20-30 minutes because the dryers are so efficient. They have a canteen with snacks and coffee, and the staff are very friendly and helpful! The lighting is nice and bright and it's very clean!

Laundromat. Not awful, but not great either. The clerk was very nice.
